A Friendly Effort (Sora & Namine)
Namine was often caught in a rather glum and quiet mood. Sora had always wanted to see her smile! Grin, even. A grin would be even better. Sometimes he would go to ridiculous resorts to do so, such as making silly faces or pinching her cheeks, but perhaps it was time to try a different method.
"…OH BABY WHEN YOU TALK LIKE THAAAAT. YOU MAKE A WOMAN GO MAD! SO BE WISE. AND KEEEP ON. READING THE SIGNS OF MY BODY. AND I’M ON TONIGHT, YOU KNOW MY HIPS DON’T LIE AND I’M STARTING TO FEEL IT’S RIGHT! ALL THE ATTRACTION, THE TENSION, DON’T YOU SEE BABY THIS IS PERFECTION?"
He wasn’t an awful singer, but it wasn’t compared to Roxas’ voice. However, he was fairly good at dancing when he tried. He thought that doing the “stanky leg” and then twerking would be pretty funny, so that’s exactly what he did.
Anything to make her smile.
"Don’t look so glum Nam! You should be dancing too, alright?"
The blonde had a lot on her mind. There was always so much that occupied her thoughts and it always seemed to bring her mood down without her even noticing it.
Around other people, she faked a smile and carried on throughout the day, but around Sora, she often let her guard down since she was comfortable around him. He would always cheer her up, and often succeed at doing so. Because of that, she was forever grateful to have someone like him around.
Noticing the brunette’s efforts to try and cheer her up, Namine peeked up from under her bangs.
At the sound of his singing, she couldn’t help but crack a smile. He would often resort to singing to try and get a smile out of her, and it often worked.
Apparently Sora wasn’t satisfied with the reaction that she gave him, so instead he broke out some dance moves, which caused Namine to let a soft giggle escape her lips.
"You’re so silly, Sora." She said softly as a gentle smile formed on her face.
