Lea’s relationship with Naminé had always been… complicated. Maybe it was the same protective instinct that always flared up around Roxas and the other girl, but even when he supposedly had no heart, there was still somehow room in there for a little bias towards the blonde-haired Nobody. She was here at the Mysterious Tower, where Lea now lived and trained, mostly to visit her friends - friends that weren’t Lea, he was sure. But here they were. Sitting on a too-small couch, both coping with late-night insomnia in different ways; Naminé was reading, and Lea was playing around with a little ball of fire on his fingertips. He wasn’t really paying attention to what the girl was doing, until he felt something hefty slump against his shoulder.. and at that point, looking down at her, he knew he was screwed. Hearts above, he was gonna adopt another one, wasn’t he.
Namine had been reading one of her books at night since she wasn’t able to fall asleep. She thought that she would spend time with Lea since he wasn’t able to sleep either.
After an hour of sitting around, her book reading got to the point where she wasn’t able to make sense of any words that she was reading and her vision was becoming blurry. She found herself squinting her eyes and scanning the same sentence numerous times trying to make out the words but failed time after time. Her eyes shut began to close periodically and her head jerked forward as her body kept going into sleep mode—but Namine kept fighting back.
At least until she gave in.
Her body had won the war on slumber and her head fell backwards to rest on the couch. Shortly afterwards, her head started to slip sideways and eventually ended up on Lea’s shoulder.
The sudden force caused her to awake from her short lived slumber. She gasped and jerked her head up as a reflex, startling herself from the incident.
“Huh—
Namine mumbled half-asleep, her voice quiet and slow.
Where am I….?” Her eyes were still halfway closed as she looked around the room and yawned.
“Don’t worry, you’re okay.”
There were times that Lea forgot his voice could even be that quiet. It was always a pleasant surprise, a sudden reminder to himself that he was whole again — not exactly fixed, but whole. He still had a million things to atone for. Naminé was one of them. Looking back on his time at Castle Oblivion, Lea had realized that he felt bad for her. Axel didn’t think a damn thing of it at the time, but the girl in his memories always made his newly-reformed heartstrings ache. So maybe tonight, him in his horrifically drab apprentice’s robes and her in her favourite pajamas, he could start to make amends. “You’re in Yen Sid’s tower. It’s all good, you’re okay.”
Namine smiled sleepily at his reassuring voice, letting her head fall back down at his shoulder. "Lea." She hummed his name gently, shutting her eyes and drifting into that sweet in between state of consciousness and slumber. She felt her body get colder, causing her to shiver slightly and nuzzle closer to him as a desperate attempt at getting some warmth.
Namine smiled softly, her eyes shining brightly "Hello, Roxas. It's so nice to meet again."
Roxas stared at the blonde and wished he had something more profound to say than “ye..Yeah, it is.”
He hadn’t gotten the chance to say too much to Naminé, but she was the one who explained his existence to him, had given him answers when he needed them the most.
That’ll be the person I trust.
He couldn’t remember if he’d thanked her for all of this already but even so it couldn’t hurt to do it again. Now that everything was finally over.
“How’ve you been?” Roxas asked, managing to give the girl a smile of his own. Of course he’d work up to that first.
"Let's just say...I'm good now." She gave him a smile, happy to finally have been reunited with the blonde boy. She had waited for this moment for quite some time now. "How about you, Roxas?" She tilted her head and clasped her hands behind her back, smiling at him sweetly.

//ok so...it's pretty obvious that I've been struggling to get replies done since I never have time, but I've decided that I'm going to budget my time now and do at least one reply a day so I won't get too stressed out either. (you know that feeling when the number of drafts you have just stares at you making you want to just give up? Yeah.) Anyways, for those of you who've stuck around through this unexpected hiatus, thank you! I'm sorry for not being as active as I should be but I honestly do enjoy roleplaying; it's just that real life has been tending to get in the way a lot lately.
//sorry I've been bad at replying lately, I promise I'll get it together soon T~T
//I'm gonna do my replies tomorrow since exams will be over. Thanks for being patient with me!
//this is so random but can someone PLEASE recommend some good KH/FF fics?

Namine was riding the bus back to her apartment after a long day of work at the local cafe. She was listening to her music and staring out the window, minding her own business. The bus was rather crowded and she was used to random strangers taking the seat beside her--even the creepy old men that always tried to strike up a conversation with her.
It had occurred to her that she could just place her bag in the empty seat next to her so that no one would take it, but she thought that it would be a rather selfish act since her bag didn't necessarily need a seat to itself, so she instead left the seat open for anyone to sit.
Since her stop happened to be the last stop, she knew that she would be spending some time on the bus. She rested her head against the window beside her and shut her eyes to rest them.
A few short moments later, she felt a sudden weight she felt on her shoulder and she immediately opened her eyes.
She slowly turned to see what was going on and found that someone had seemed to have fallen asleep on her shoulder.
"......."
She couldn't tell whether it was a girl or a boy just yet, but whatever the case was, she didn't want to disturb them.
She tensed up a bit and sighed to herself.
What do I do now?
all night long!
Send me “all night long” and I’ll generate a number from 1 to 20 to see what our muses are doing up all night.9. Watching a movie.
"What’s this movie even about anyway?"
"Well, maybe if you asked less questions and paid more attention, you would actually know!" Namine said sarcastically, letting out a slight laugh.

Namine and Kairi were having a girls night, watching a movie and eating popcorn.
The two had already gone through 2 movies and they were halfway through the third. Somewhere along, their conversations dimmed down a bit and the two were left quietly staring at the screen, exchanging a line every now and then.
Namine had the popcorn bowl in her lap and she had forgotten to offer Kairi the bowl in quite some time, she extended her arm towards Kairi to give her the bowl.
"Here you go--"
She turned to find that Kairi's head was resting on her shoulder and she was sound asleep. Namine was aware that Kairi had her head on the blonde's shoulder, but she just thought that she was making herself comfortable.
Perhaps she got a little too comfortable.
Namine laughed to herself slightly at the sight and put the popcorn bowl on the table beside her, being ever so careful so she would wake the Princess. She reached for the remote that was sitting beside her and shut the TV off, thinking that she should probably get some rest as well.
Demyx gave a hum as he thought about it, taking a moment to give a serious answer.
"If we’re being realistic here. I’d go somewhere the Organization doesn’t have ties.”
He gave a quick nod at that, as if agreeing with himself, “There’s hundreds of worlds out there you know? There’s gotta be places we’ve never even seen.”
It was the same mentality his somebody had practiced. But it clearly hadn’t been the best given where he was now.
He winked towards Namine,as if to assure that this conversation wouldn’t leave this room, “But that’s just me rambling.”
Namine nodded at his answer and laughed to herself at the hint he gave her. She was making it too obvious that her questions had underlying intentions. He had most likely caught on to that and she was glad to know that she could somewhat trust him.
She sighed, turning the other way as a dark realization hit her and she came back to reality.
"Whatever, it's not like anyone would be able to go anywhere, even if they tried."
"They would most likely be found in less than a day."
Welcome, Namine!
The sudden force that was thrown at him was enough for him to snap out of his sleeping state, system on alert as he got up immediately, although it drained part of his energy.
Being awoken during recharge was the real world equivalent to being cranky. Of course, even then he didn’t have enough energy for that, so the earlier full-attention alert had mellowed down, his system preserving what energy had remained.
"Hmm…? Yeah, no worries. But are you okay?" Sora asked, tilting his head at the blonde girl who looked awfully familiar.
Namine was relieved at the boys answer, glad that he wasn't hurt or anything.
"Yes, I'm fine, thank you."
Namine laughed in embarrassment due to the entire situation. It was quite a silly first impression--falling on someone.
"I'm so sorry for disturbing your sleep!"
Her cheeks grew slightly warm and pink. Perhaps she shouldn't have been standing so close to the boy in the first place, but her curiosity got the best of her.
'A long time since we last met —' he thinks it over for a moment before blinking and looking over at her. “So does that mean you’re the data namine?” This is kind of strange for him, normally he can tell the difference between users and data versions — but namine was different, she always had been.
”How— How have you been?"
Data Namine...
Namine was confused momentarily at his assumption.
She wasn't sure why he thought that she was Data Namine, unless he was Data Riku....which in that case, his assumption made sense.
"No--
"I'm the original Namine."
She stepped a bit closer to him to examine him.
"You're....Data..Riku?"
[✗] “If I knew what was bugging me that would be a big help. But I guess we’re both stuck since I dunno. I guess it’s just… some weird mood I’m in?”
"Well, I can't help you there..."
Namine looked down shortly before an idea popped in her head, gasping in excitement as her head shot up again.
"How about we go get some ice cream?
That always cheers me up!"
