"Hey, it’s a good view." Sora joked, but he laughed lightly and waved briefly. "I’ll be out in a minute!"
He ducked back inside and hurried to his clothes pile. It only took him a few minutes to change, and then another two to get his hair in proper order. He flew out the door and down the stairs, dashing through the front doors to meet the pair. He stumbled to a stop directly beside the pair, and waved with a new bright smile. “Morning. Again. Looks like I was late for the party.” He turned to Riku expectantly. “What brings you here…?” And he paused as he took a good look at the young keyblade master, smile faltering in confusion. “Riku, did you… get a haircut or something? You look…. different.”
"Alright." Namine called before she turned her attention back to Riku. She was quick to notice the other girl’s expression, leaving Namine to tilt her head and stare at her curiously. "Is something wrong, Riku?" It then hit her that, under normal circumstance, Sora probably would never be here. At least, not the Sora of this world.
She really didn’t have the chance to explain herself as Sora joined the duo outside. Instead she could only offer a small laugh at the spiky-haired teen’s question, folding her arms behind her back as she looked between the two, wondering how Riku would react.
"No, it's just... I didn't expect it," Riku admitted, before Sora came to join them. When she saw him up close, she noticed his clothing was different than that of the Sora of her world. The outfit was similar, but more... streamlined, a little simpler.
At the inquiry, the taller teen raised a brow, lips quirking in amusement. She thought it had been weird that he greeted her so enthusiastically. Did he really not notice? She shared a glance with Namine, before she tilted her head slightly, smirking down at him. "I can imagine. Getting a sex change can do that to a person."

Sora inhaled deeply as he stirred from the bed that had been dubbed as “his” from the mansion. Pushing himself to sit up, he arched his back and stretched with a yawn before relaxing back down again. He rubbed his eyes and threw off the blanket to hop out. He wore his sleeping shirt and sleeping shorts, something the pair had procured beforehand, and did not yet bother changing into his daytime clothes. Instead the youth went for the window, unlocked it, and pushed open the pane. The breeze greeted him, and refreshed him from sleep, and the teen leaned against the sill to drink in the fresh air and view. It was little things like this that kept him happy.
The sunset was blazing as usual, though when Sora looked down, he saw something that was completely unexpected. “Riku! Hey!” He called down, reaching up and waving his arm over his head. “Didja come down an’ visit? Oh yeah, Morning Namine!”
"Ah, thank you." Namine smiled, deciding it was best not to argue against her words. Whether the blonde would actually gain a heart or not would just have to be left for time to tell.
A familiar voice caught her off guard and she quickly looked up, blinking a few times. She hadn’t been expecting Sora to be awake yet, not to mention actually knowing this version of Riku—though she supposed she couldn’t be too surprised. With a laugh the witch raised her hand in greeting, calling back. “Good morning! Do you plan on coming down here or just shouting from the window?”
The voice surprised Riku as well, and she glanced up to see a familiar head of spikes waving enthusiastically from a window in the mansion. She started, looking back and forth between the window and the Nobody in question. Stunned into silence, the young keyblade master looked to Namine in wonder. Did she just... laugh?
I've never seen her so... happy. She looked back up to the widow quickly, brow furrowing and eyes squinting in confusion. And why was Sora sleeping here? Wouldn't he be with Donald and Goofy?
He snorted softly and shook his head. “No I wouldn’t say it happens all the time, but it was what we call grey magic. Something very powerful that we cannot control.” He shrugged a little. “I do not know what it is you’re looking for but if I see anything strange then I’ll let you know, if I see you again. Look after yourself, young lady.” He grinned, licking his fangs in warning. “Predators are everywhere.”
"Hn." She huffed in a mockery of a laugh. Not because she did not believe him, but because this was the second time she had hear that warning. "Careful. You might scare someone with talks like that." she jabbed lightly, before she relented. "But thank you. I’ll keep an eye out for myself around here. And I might just be back soon. Take care, Riku." She saluted before she turned on her heel and stalked out of the shop.
"Look who decided to show up. Glad to see you up and about."
"Why wouldn’t I be? Been working my tail off since last Monday.."
"Oh, you mean you've actually been working this whole time? Glad I don't have to give you a lecture." Her lips quirked as he greeted her familiarly. "In a seriousness though, how'd it go on your end? Find out anything useful?"
❝— Of course we can’t!❞ She replied, not even making the smallest of efforts to hide the amused chuckle that escaped from her rosed lips. ❝— Who said we had to par? We can do so many other things besides training! I thought you knew that better than anyone, oh wise Master.❞ She added, giggling. ❝— Come on, Riku! Let’s go get an ice cream or something!❞
"Now that," Riku relaxed and fell into step beside her. "Is something I can do. Riku had not been paying attention before, so this time had to keep an eye out for the ice cream shop. She blinked when she spotted it and pointed it out. "Found it. Try not to eat too fast and give yourself brain-freeze." She was joking, of course. Sora was the one they needed to look out for.
The young man didn’t had much time to react to what happened, before he even knew it, he fell on some bouncing things, just to be thrown on the air again.
"Uh-oh uh-oh"
The colors exploded in a splash of water, snapping against the boy's skin and probably giving him a nasty bite. But it gave Riku just enough time to leap over the pile to where the youth was heading. "Let go!" Came the warning, before the young Master released the keyblade and threw out both arms to catch him. The solar surfboard may suffer some damage, but if the boy held onto it, it would end up injuring them both. If he didn't, it's probably crash on top of them and break.

An out-of-control solar surfer was falling from the sky in a great speed to the floor, not very good news for the dashing looking young man that was piloting the surfer.
"NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!"
Riku heard the shouts first, but when the image registered, the young Master reacted automatically. Gasping soundlessly in shock, Way to the Dawn answered the Master's call, along with an aura of darkness. A dark blur sped through the air to lurch at the spot where the falling machine and young rider spiraling out of control. Even then it was obvious it would have been too close. The keyblade pointed to the air as magic surged through it.
A pile of brightly colored spheres erupted on the floor, covering the area as balloonga ran it's course. The spheres would injure upon impact, for the exploding spheres were meant to do so, but it would keep him from crashing into the ground in a nasty splatter, and bounce him back into the air instead. It would give Riku just enough time to jump, and catch him safely.
"Look who decided to show up. Glad to see you up and about."
(( Here’s a compilation of all the genderbends I’ve edited so far. :) After doing these, I went back to my “Disney Princes” and re-edited them slightly, so these are the new versions. (Yeah, I know the guys still look younger than the girls, sorry. XP lol) ))
OMG can we please get a gender bend Milo/Kidah story PLEASE!!!

Riku’s statement snapped Xion out of it, and she looked at the other’s eyes in confused shock. So… did Riku remember after all? She couldn’t tell, but… Clearly, the other girl had come to some conclusion.
"…I haven’t forgotten," she said, finally, giving a little sigh. "I looked like… like your other friend. Kairi. That was her name, right? I looked like her, but I had dark hair… But at least I could pretend I was my own person. Puppet or not… for a while, I thought I was like the others. I thought I could be real.”
She finally looked at Riku again, flashing a wan smile. “I guess I got that wish, but… I kind of hoped I’d look the way I did again. Not like this… I only took this form in the end, when I’d absorbed far too many of his memories… I don’t know if there is a way to go back.”
To merely trade one face for another. One friend for the other. Was that the fate of all replicas? To always be in the shadows? Riku would have wished otherwise, but there was no helping it.
"..Hmph." Riku released her shoulder and put one hand on her hip. "Can't blame you. If I had a choice between the two, I'd definitely choose Kairi. At least she's cute." It was a weak joke, she knew. At least something to lighten the tension. Because the boy- no, girl before her seemed so defeated. How could Riku not at least try to cheer her up, given the circumstances? "Look, Xion, I'm not sure if I can find a way to change you back, but I can try. If absorbing Sora's memories made you this way, maybe there's a way we can reverse it."
Embracing-light-and-dark has appeared!
A faint chuckle. “That makes two of us.”
They stood that way for a while, neither one speaking. The initial shock - though that was too strong a word, perhaps - of meeting a female him had worn off, it was easy to see that they were in similar situations, for the most part.
The other’s next question was a little unexpected. How long had it been? “A little over a year, actually,” he answered, counting back. There had been some instances where the months had just…run together, but that sounded right. “What about you?”
"A year?” She asked almost incredulously. “And you still haven’t heard anything from him?”
The news practically alarmed her. To go for so long without a real inkling to his plans could not bode well. What was he planning? Why was he taking so long? What were they in for? She dropped her arms as she turned away, one hand going to pinch her chin as she went into thought. “It’s only been two months for me. I don’t like this. Whatever he’s planning for this long can’t be good.” Eyes darting almost imperceptibly, she straightened with inspiration. “What of the other two keybladers of Light? Have you heard anything about them?”
flustered awkward teenager
ㅤ“— No, no. I don’t seem to be confident. I am confident.” The princess guaranteed, a playful smile starting to show upon her feathers. ㅤ“— You wouldn’t do such thing because of several reasons; one — because we haven’t spent time together in a long while two — because you would have to face my pouting face.”
"...Well we can't have that, can we?" Riku teased lightly, though did not specify which comment she was agreeing on. Truth be told, Kairi's pouts always amused her. They made the girl cute in an almost pitiable way. The Amazonian smirked affectionately and uncrossed her arms. "Alright, you win, I'll stay. But I'm not really feeling up to par right now. I was kinda hoping to take a break and rest up. It's been a long day."
