How do you feel about student/teacher pairings in the fictional world? i love them when they're written well BUT i still don't think they should be romanticized because there's probably impressionable young kids reading/watching those student/teacher stories and there's a good reason why it's illegal in the real world, namely the abuse of power, and also they tend to veer uncomfortably into pedophilia when set in high school (college is a lot better because everyone there is legal but there is still the power issue i mean i know our fave fictional characters would never do anything awful w/ that but y'know, teachers in the real world might).
