hi guys wow i'm a little bit late to the party, while you were getting this all set up i was...uhh sleeping. anyway i'm wevi, i'm 18 and a senior. hopefully i'll be studying english lit in california next year! my blog is pretty multifandom, but mostly how i met your mother (as my url suggests), game of thrones and parks and recreation. my favorite male book character is rickon stark from asoiaf or maybe seamus finnigan from hp and my favorite female is lavender brown from hp. i like to read all your basic 'book club' books: the help, the lovely bones, the thirteenth tale etcetcetc and also stuff by those sort of popular authors: kate morton, jodie piccoult, barbara kingsolver. also stephen king (i'm not really in to sci-fi but i looove getting scared). i'm a huuuuuuge greek mythology (or any kind of mythology) fan and i adore shakespeare. my favorite author/book series is harry potter by jk rowling, tho :)

My unpopular opinion about this character: it’s not unpopular but he should have listened to his goddamn mother. Also the show writers did a terrible job with him in season three in my opinion

How I feel about this character: I have to admit I’m not as attached to Bran as I am to Robb and Sansa and Rickon but I’m basically terrified of him I think he’s going to do something HUGE

All the people I ship romantically with this character: nobody actually I’m sorry :(

My non-romantic OTP for this character: Bran and Jojen or Bran and Summer and I feel like he’d also have a really cute relationship with Sansa if they ever found each other again? Very intellectual and respectful

My unpopular opinion about this character: I think he’s one of the few characters poised to change the game completely. Actually, all of the Stark siblings are, really. Also he’d make one of the better rulers out of all the characters.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: I sincerely hope he somehow manages to rejoin his siblings in some way, although I think it’s less likely for him than the others.

RICKON:

How I feel about this character: my sweet darling savage Rickon. I adore him. I cannot wait until he reappears in the books. I think he’s going to be a very, very dangerous character. And god if that isn’t the thing I’m most looking forward to.

All the people I ship romantically with this character: not really anybody currently but I can definitely see him working out with Myrcella

My non-romantic OTP for this character: Rickon and Bran and Arya and Sansa staRK SIBLINGS FOREVER

My unpopular opinion about this character: I want him to come screaming in from the North and literally tear everything apart just out of desire for revenge, not for a crown. Give me Rickon Stark as a deadly force of justice or give me daeth

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: I sincerely hope he gets an army at his back and sweeps across the land bring winter to the doors of all those who hurt his family in any way

How do you feel about student/teacher pairings in the fictional world? i love them when they're written well BUT i still don't think they should be romanticized because there's probably impressionable young kids reading/watching those student/teacher stories and there's a good reason why it's illegal in the real world, namely the abuse of power, and also they tend to veer uncomfortably into pedophilia when set in high school (college is a lot better because everyone there is legal but there is still the power issue i mean i know our fave fictional characters would never do anything awful w/ that but y'know, teachers in the real world might).
