the guide let it slip that the artist was in love trying to defend him from the chief’s accusations our oblivious chief thought it a joke and reacted accordingly by hurting the artist

they talked of fleeing, of moving until the artist confessed himself and the chief remained unconvinced but still he confessed in return

proof and reasoning had to be presented because the chief chose to be a stubborn idiot but at least they worked out their love is mutual

a sudden change in conversation came discussing the chief’s legs the artist’s hands and if there would be handcuffs in use
