SIX WITH SAINT AND CARMINE LOVE U

On a sunny Tuesday afternoon, the late sunlight glowing in your hair

Carmine found Saint in the garden, on his knees with both hands buried to the wrist in the black dirt. He was talking to Steel, flopped on his belly nearby. Carmine stopped for a minute to watch him. There was no stress in the lines of Saint’s body. He’d gained weight, adding muscle to his slim frame, and it made Carmine’s heart glad to see the peace slowly rewriting the anxiety that had lived in Saint’s core for so long.

As he watched, Saint sat up on his heels and stretched. The sun struck his hair, turning the tips burnished gold, and Carmine couldn’t be still any longer. He climbed the low hill and Saint tipped his head back to look up at him, nothing but happiness in his brown eyes.

“Hi,” Saint said, a smile curving his generous mouth.

“Hi back.” Carmine stooped to kiss him. “Dinner’s ready.”

asdgkjg lmao ask and thou shalt receive I guess Enjolras: Cherry. Widely popular, bold flavour, very much your classic lollipop. People often have strong opinions about whether or not they like it. Either the first or last to disappear from the Halloween stash. Also it’s red. Combeferre: Lemon. Also a classic. Most people like lemon, and this becomes your favourite flavour by default when you turn 40. The flavour a professor would keep in a bowl on their desk. Jehan: Maple. Very regional. Incredibly niche. A lollipop made from boiled tree juice and shaped into a leaf. The people are divided on this one, some find it kitschy and others find it life-changingly good. Feuilly: Orange. Have you ever met anyone who dislikes orange? Orange is another classic, though not usually anyone’s first choice, which is a shame because it’s understated but a very very good one. Courfeyrac: Blue raspberry. The boldest of lollipop flavours and honestly, the flavour that keeps the entire candy industry from falling apart. Why is it blue? Nobody knows! But it’s strong and sweet and turns your tongue a funky colour. Bahorel: Cotton candy. Bold, very very bold. If your sweet tooth is particularly aggressive, this is the lollipop for you. Older adults pretend like they don’t like this flavour, and they’re either wrong or they’ve already got cavities. Bossuet: Grape. Alas, poor grape. Usually the last flavour picked, because lollipop makers still haven’t figured out how to make a more appetizing shade of purple. It’s largely ignored, but it’s good! Objectively the most underrated lollipop. Joly: Pina Colada. You literally can’t eat one of these without that one song getting stuck in your head. Fantastic blend of pineapple and coconut. Happiness is stored in the pina colada lollipop. A bit hard to find, but worth it when you do. Unless you’re allergic to pineapple, in which case I’m so so sorry. Grantaire: Licorice. Where the hell did you find this? You grabbed it because it looked like grape and got quite a shock when you put it in your mouth. Probably the most disliked flavour, but those who do love it (and there are many) will defend licorice to the grave.
