At long last, Let The Demons Have Their Place is posted in full!

After striking a major blow against their former superiors in the Legion, Damianus and Marius have nowhere safe to run--Save from the Mojave entirely. Signing on with a caravan northbound to Utah, the pair of them finally see a chance at living their own lives as free men, and finally figuring out who they are to one another, without the ever-present fear of Legion punishment.

But what seems like escape quickly turns grim--and reminds them there may be no escape from the Legion's shadow after all...

45k words, with warnings for reference child abuse (both the boys having grown up in the Legion) and discussed suicide (As per the Survivalist’s logs) and a panic attack from a POV character.

Damianus and Marius--Dixie Greene and Alex Rojas, to those not in the Legion--have been charged by Caesar himself to do his bidding in the Mojave desert, undermining the NCR and swaying as many factions as they can to support his war on the West. It should be second nature to Dixie, wholly devoted to the Legion's cause, and iron-willed enough to see his duty to the end. He's sacrificed too much to let himself fail now, even as his faith in the Son of Mars is tested at every turn.

But Marius, already under suspicion of treason, has his reservations and isn't shy about sharing them. But it's more than idealism driving him...The longer he spends with Dixie, the less he can imagine being apart from him--and the more he suspects Dixie feels the same, despite the Legion's laws.

And the deeper they go into Caesar's machinations, the less time they have to reckon with anything that might lie between them, never mind the war looming over their heads...
