it depends! when it comes to certain situations (i.e. tossing themself right into danger for shits and giggles) then they have a serious lack of caution. iovita can be a bit of an adrenaline junky at times, and that combined with their inherent curiosity spells t-r-o-u-b-l-e.
when it comes to people, however, iovita is always cautious. they have huge trust issues, which is the biggest hurdle to any sort of positive relationship with them. iovita meets someone, they distrust them. it’s inherent. it’s what they do. they’re always worried that someone wants to use them for personal gain, and that’s the thing they really, really want to avoid.
HIBISCUS: how does your muse view the gentler , daintier things in life ? as things worth preserving & caring for , or things only bound to wither & disappear ?
one thing I’ve noticed; iovita doesn’t understand people who are kind and gentle. it makes senses, really. iovita’s been dealt a rough hand. at this point they’re incapable of seeing the world through rose-tinted glasses, or clinging to hope that things are inherently good. kind people are fleeting to them.
the gentle, dainty things in nature, however, are much more interesting to them. those things simply exist. they’re not trying to find a foothold of kindness in a cruel world. they like those things. they like little seedlings and the wobbly-legs of a fawn. the inherent daintiness of life... they love that.
