To attend the Objets d’Art, Objets de Mode (Art and Fashion: Statement Pieces) #exhibition at Musée du Louvre was the main purpose of my last super rush #trip to #Paris 🗼 About 100 #fashion #masterpieces by some of the greatest #designers and #couturiers of our time, Christian Dior, Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent, Balmain, Alexander McQueen, just to name a few are displayed in the Department of Decorative Arts until August 24. This not-to-miss #couture showcase embraces and celebrates centuries-old #traditional #craftsmanship and #exquisite #sewing #techniques as well as defines the #decorative #aesthetic from the perspective of fashion #design. It would be regretful not to seize this precious opportunity to get artistically and culturally inspired as a fashion/ #art enthusiast.
