I have said this before but I am the coordinator of an all male coven. I'm a part of the High Council. We are always open to serious inquiries about membership. The current project is saving money and looking for land to build our Covenstead. We have clear rules and tasks, but your magick is your own. More details on the Covenstead if you DM. I'm going to paste the bylaws and mission statement below for anyone who is interested. We are based on the East Coast in NC. But looking for land in VA where homesteading laws are slightly more flexible.
Mission Statement:
The Horned Brotherhood of the Moon is a sacred gathering of gay male witches devoted to the study, practice, and mastery of magick in all its forms. We honor the divine masculine through phallic worship, gay sex magick, and reverence for the ancient gods, while nurturing our gifts in divination, spell crafting, tantra, and herbalism. Together, we teach love, magick, and spiritual growth, offering a space where all members can explore their power, sexuality, and connection to the natural world. Our coven celebrates polytheism, paganism, and the brotherhood that bonds us in magickal practice.
Coven Bylaws:
1. Membership:
Membership is open to gay men who are 21 years of age or older, with proof of age required.
New members must successfully complete the three initiation tasks outlined by the coven to prove their faith, loyalty, and commitment.
Membership may be revoked if a member violates the coven's sacred trust or disrespects other members.
2. Initiation Tasks:
Task 1: Meditate in the forest for two hours. At the end of meditation, choose an object that speaks to you as your personal totem. Present this totem at the next gathering.
Task 2: Create an outline for a group manifestation ritual, to be presented at the next gathering.
Task 3: Submit yourself physically and sexually to the coven at the following gathering, after completing the first two tasks.
3. Coven Gatherings:
Regular gatherings are to be held under the moon, with respect to lunar and seasonal cycles.
Each member is encouraged to share their magickal gifts and insights during gatherings, fostering an atmosphere of mutual learning and spiritual support.
Rituals and ceremonies will honor the gods, practice magick, and deepen our connection to each other and the natural world.
4. Respect and Consent:
Mutual respect, love, and consent are central to our brotherhood. All physical, emotional, and spiritual interactions must be consensual, with clear communication among members.
Disrespect, coercion, or harm to any member will not be tolerated and may result in expulsion from the coven.
5. Teaching and Learning:
The coven is a place of learning and teaching. Each member is encouraged to share their expertise, whether in divination, tantra, spell crafting, or other spiritual gifts, so all may grow together.
All members must be open to learning, expanding their magickal practice, and contributing to the collective energy of the coven.
6. Confidentiality:
The identities, practices, and discussions within the coven are sacred and private. Members are bound to protect the privacy and confidentiality of the brotherhood. Sharing coven details with outsiders without permission is strictly prohibited.
7. Diversity of Belief:
We are an eclectic, polytheistic coven, honoring many gods and spiritual traditions. Each member is free to worship as they see fit, and all spiritual paths are respected. The coven celebrates diversity and encourages members to express their individual spiritual practices within the collective.
