Surrendering to be free. Yesterday I thought I saw a UFO today as I look out onto the same horizon for three months, a sailboat heads east. Freedom to roam? Freedom in this pandemic? What does that really mean? After all, even if we go back to "normalcy" we are still in this earthly prison and in a body. How many of you are still identifying with your name, your shape, your nationality and of course your ideas? Someone I love is locked in quarantine for nearly 21 days now, in a hotel room. Waiting? It's ironic, because once she gets out, we'll be confined to the sanitary cordon of our district and then to the island. Leave we can, but where to would be the question and coming back means going back into quarantine. So, it's like being in prison in a way. In the earlier part of the XX century, prisons were outdoors, there were no giant walls, they were simply located in more isolated areas. Perhaps near a swamp or in a Gulag. Then, one had the freedom to still be amongst nature, even if it was a threatening one and one was in a chain gang. Today's prison's are more man made than anything else. They derive from the sickness of man's mind. We will be free, when we are free of all this we call forms and that includes walls and bodies. For is not the body the prison of every soul? : #prison #freedom #covidconfinement #covidAzores #sailboat #selfawareness #self #lockdown #theblues https://www.instagram.com/p/B_cXIzHKwpY/?igshid=15dm26xn0p2qy
