Cowboy Will part 2

Shumate: Welcome back to the Cowboy Will Show.  Earlier in the show we played a new song by Phil Cole and Hank Williams III.  That’s from Phil’s new album 55 Songs for the losing candidate.  It’s the only pure country tune on the album but there is one other designed for us folk from rural America.  It uses the tunes from the 3 famous rural comedies of the 1960s: Petticoat Junction, Green Acres and the biggest of them all the Beverly Hillbillies.  For this one Phil sings along with Kristen Chynoweth, always beloved here in the south.  This song might not make any hit chart, but I think it may bring warmth to some hearts.  Here it is.  The title is Elect Her.

Will Shumate of West Virginia, known as Cowboy Will, would win the race to first broadcast the album’s 2 country songs, the first just moments after 7 am the send late in his show but before anyone else.

Shumate: Well y’all probably know Phil Cole and Hank Williams III have a second duet released today as part of the album 55 Songs for the losing Candidate.  Don’t worry none.  This candidate is in a far-off country and she already lost good a year ago, but Phil can’t stop writing about her.  Y’all remember the hit song the start of the year Her golden Heart to the tune of Hank William I’s legendary Your cheatin’ Heart.Well, they’ve done another one to the Hank fun song Caw-Liga and here it is:
