how about:

a classic european period drama set in the late middle ages with people speaking in southern us accents

a classic us western with it's characters speaking the 'non-posh' accents of the uk + ireland (welsh, scottish, irish, northern, et.)

both will have people of all ethnicities in every class and no explanations whatsoever for why they're not speaking with the 'right' accents
