My mom's favorite flower. I found it growing next to my apartment complex. I'm curious how it got there. As far as I know red ones don't grow wild here and I didn't see other cowslips anywhere nearby. Did someone plant it there? Why in that case? It's very close to where cars drive in and out of the garage and could easily be run over.

Anyway, I thought it was pretty and decided to take a photo of it!

Love how everyone has a varied WD!AU and or designs of their own, love seeing how everyone molds the cast Into their own adaptations! Me personally I honestly make my Silver deaf (since I figured he has some sort of albinism, that and I can extend the world-building a bit-!! Instead of the common ASL while speaking with a deaf-rabbit other rabbits would use thumping-!!) That and I honestly love making my Strawberry a bit of an anthropologist-!! Not In a way that he loves observing humans, but the things they create! THAT AND HE CAN READ-!! (I don’t care If It’s a bit unrealistic these are talking rabbits with culture and magic IDGAF!!) he use to rummage through the food/trash heap the farmer would throw out daily as a kitten and found Interest In the scraps with words the most! And It would play a HUGE part In the journey! He also carries lil’ trinkets In a bandana he wears! (I like to think all hutch or even just domesticated rabbits In general have accessories to tell them apart, ALSO RANDOM BUT IMPORTANT I also like to think that Cowslip was secretly the farmers pet rabbit-!! Basically to Insure everyone’s kept In check, so even HE doesn’t believe the bullshit that he preaches on the daily! A false prophet through and through, that and he knows where the snares are planted. Just to add to his overall wickedness.)

I never considered a Deaf version of Silver but it makes so much sense if he's leucistic! He could probably still communicate pretty well with other rabbits because so much of rabbit communication is body language and scents, but it would really change how he'd scout or watch for elil.

I like the idea of hutch and Wire rabbits accessorizing, it makes sense for them and is so cute. (Honestly that's one of the reasons I don't care for the Darkhaven rabbits having feathers, because it feels more like something the Wire rabbits would do, not them. That and the racism of having the barbarian raiders have feathers in their hair :/) BUT BACK TO THE CUTENESS now I'm picturing Nildro-hain putting flowers around her ears and getting a new arrangement whenever they wither up!

Ooh neat take on Cowslip! My ('99) version is that he does believe what he says, but isn't willing to confront that kind of death himself. So he has Silverweed tell him where all the snares are, because Silverweed can see in any rabbit's heart where they die and by doing that can see where each snare is set.
