Charity events have officially concluded!
After these last 3 Tuesday Night Coffee charity events it's time for the last thank you for the year. These last 3 months have been incredible, the support in the community in general but the motorcycle community as a whole has been the best so far. Over the last the 3 charity events we have done astonishing things to help those who may not be able to completely help themselves. We have raised somewhere in the range, if not more than, 3,000 pounds of food for the Oregon Food Bank. Additionally, as I've said before, we have been raising money for OHSU Knight Cancer Institute in honor of Kendall Rowe who lost her life to cancer in July of 2013. All of this had been a surprise to Mike Rowe, her husband. He is now aware of this and is extremely thankful for all the support to keep her name as strong as she was. Over the 3 events we managed to raise, $1,528.50 all donated to OHSU Knight Cancer Institute. This is HUGE! Of course NONE of this would ever be possible without the continued and incredible support from so many companies, willing to go out of their way and dig deep to provide amazing venues and prizes to raffle off. (If you have not yet done so, please head to their facebook and 'like' and share their pages. We need to show the same support to them that they have shown to us!) Cox Racing Group, ICON, Motorcycle Travel America, Motorcycle Travel America Foundation, Thunder Mountain Motorcycle Rescue, Ava Roasteria, Black Rock Coffee, MotorSport Hillsboro, EDR Performance, MotoCorsa, Motorcycle Superstore, 2Wheel Podcast, Joseph LaParne Insurance, See See Moto Coffee Co. Stumptown Coffee, Old Chicago, Bob Lanphere's Beaverton Motorcycle, Fenders Moto Cafe & Brew Pub, and Negative Outlook Clothing. Additional thank you to Jaime with Jokers & Jacks for the live music! Doubling up on thank you's to MotoCorsa and See See Motor Coffee Co for providing us with awesome locations to host the Thanksgiving and Christmas events. Both occasions they staffed people long past their closing time for us so they need a big thank you for that! It's been a great year everyone. After some conversations with a few people and companies, it looks like you won't all have to wait for next winter for these to come back either. Sounds like we'll be doing a lot more this summer! -Brady Schwartz [email protected]
