We just found out there’s a lone titan that reins over old Chicago so now we’ve decided to not only include him in our story but we’re making him a bears fan.

Crackpot theory, but where ever we go in old Chicago is gonna have gravity based shenanigans. I say this, because Graviton Lance, the gun that shoots blackholes, was found in old Chicago. Thoughts?

I'm hoping so too, because there's a lot more than just Graviton Lance related to gravity about Old Chicago. Or rather, Graviton Lance seems to be the product of the work DEO was doing back in pre-Golden Age time, and it was specifically what Nella Davis worked on. This is also related to Hakke and their pre-Golden Age predecessor:

I see some interesting details. Häkke's Golden-Age predecessor had a terrestrial office in what was once the city of Chicago. They were involved in the development of gravity-based weapons.

I'm very interested in the relation between DEO and this predecessor of Hakke and if maybe they're the same thing. Or some sort of a department of DEO that later turned into Hakke and actually produced the weapon we know as Graviton Lance.

A lot of little nods to it all. I'm hoping we'll get a mission or something set there that will have something to do with gravity in gameplay as well. Such a cool tie-in to something only originally mentioned as an off-hand comment about where Graviton Lance was found. Even if they had ideas about wanting to explore something like Old Chicago ruins, there's no way they knew at the time we'd actually eventually go there. Incredibly neat to me.

“Today Is Bargain Day - A Collection Of All Star High Fidelity Recordings” 1956

Essentially a EmArcy/Mercury jazz label sampler, this 69 year old album sounds fantastic! Some really solid stuff on here! It’s also worth owning for the cover shot of Chicago’s Maxwell Street in 1955. Looks like that street market puts my local street market to shame!
