I made a grand #culinary discovery when I #accidentally walked into this place to #charge my #phone . The #huevosrancheros had scrambled eggs #hiding #coyly beneath a rich hearty sauce. On the other half of the plate, #refriedbeans #spanishrice , some #grilledonions , #chips and #crumbly #goatcheese vie for #attention. Of course alongside there was a thermally insulated server for steaming hot tortillas that they make with their #conveyorbelt #tortilla machine. There's a separate room where people buy tortillas. You stand there watching the tortillas roll down the conveyor belt, and as you order from the girl at the cash register, the guy watching over the tortilla machine grabs a stack and deftly wraps them in paper and handed then to me. Standing and holding these hot tortillas felt like a warm living being in my hands. (at La Sabrocita)
