CAN’T ERADICATE US
Drew up these deigns after hearing some of the awful bullshit US politicians are saying about trans people. We’re here and we’re not going away.
These are available on my Bonfire shop. All profits go to my move and transition expenses
The ‘recent’ (and by recent I mean I buried his ass two years ago) vulture culture project! This poor coyote got hit by a car on one of the roads I was driving when I worked out surveying marbled murrelets. I buried him up on my aunt and uncle’s property because I was between houses and we went up there for dinner the other day and I was like hey! This boy’s probably ready to be dug up.
I’m missing two of his teeth (furthest back molar and one of his front incisors), and a... f...fair number of toes that I need to go back to try to find in the dirt, but I would LOVE to string this guy together. Once I can figure out where more of his toes went and in what order his toes (and ribs) go.
Interestingly, one of his tibia and fibulas appear to be fused - I thought it was just dirt or something sticking them together when I dug it up but after cleaning it, they are actually visibly fused together - just a little, but they are. Wonder how that happened!
Idk why this is not letting me smoosh the images into not a long ass post but
Drying time for an extremely difficult coyote
dug up an entire skeleton under a huge clump of matted gray fur near the creek! this is only half of it, I came back and dug up the rest. the skull was shattered but I believe it’s a juvenile coyote! could be a raccoon or a domestic dog of some sort too, I’m not sure. this is obviously pre-degreasing and pre-whitening because I wanted to show the before and after once I finish these
Red Fox (Vulpes vulpes) skeleton vs Coyote (Canis latrans) skeleton.
(Hop hop vs awooo wooo)
*these animals died of natural causes and their bones were humanely harvested. these pictures were taken at an osteology museum.
School project looks good ❤️❤️
