My Break On Tumblr

I've been feeling quite out of it the past few months. I haven't been happy with the pick-a-card readings I was making and realised I feel like the quality inevitably drops when I push myself to put out reading week after week without giving myself a break. I also didn't love that most of the pick-a-card readings I was posting had become Patreon-extended readings. It felt like I was pushing Patreon too much and that's the last thing I want! The intention of this blog has always been to be a fun endeavour to develop my tarot reading skills and connect with others (that's been the biggest highlight of having this blog).

Generally, I've been feeling out of sorts and slightly depressed too so I ended up taking a break from tarot (though I now feel ready to come back).

On To New Adventures

I started college! To be honest, I wasn't sure if I would ever go back but I decided to just go for it! I'm studying Fashion Media and it's been a rough start with everything in my personal life, but at the same time, I'm definitely looking forward to this new journey.

The Disownment & Escape

I don't think there are any trigger warnings here?

Honestly... I've written this part a few times. Ultimately, I've realised that the whole situation is affecting me way more deeply than I've wanted to admit. Long story short though-- I was staying at my dad's cause I needed medical treatment, wasn't willing to compromise or hide who I am (especially being neurodivergent which I can't control 🙄) or ignore my own spiritual beliefs, for that got disowned, didn't feel physically safe and needed to leave asap.

My sister was kind enough to buy me a plane ticket to leave immediately after the climax of the situation, but I still needed to be able to make it to the airport on my own-- hence asking for help here. With your help and many anxiety attacks later, I finally made it back to where I was living.

The whole ordeal has been difficult to wrap my head around...

However, I am insanely grateful that new and familiar people here were kind enough to help me out of the situation. Words can't begin to describe my gratitude; I hope I can pay it forward in the future! 💕

Moving Forward

I'm aiming to start back posting pick-a-card readings over the next few weeks on Tumblr. I'm also unpausing my Patreon so that will be available to join again. Hopefully, I can get around to doing a few blog games as well, but I do need to work out my schedule properly before I can fit that in. Upcoming Changes:

I'm adjusting my posting schedule so I can be flexible but maintain consistency. Rather than posting on the same day every week (I love to be concise but it's taking a toll on me 🥲) you can expect:

Extended Access: Minimum of 2 PACs per month.

Tea Time Soiree & The Reading Room: Minimum of 4 PACs per month.

Also, if I'm struggling with a PAC, I'll switch to mini-personal readings instead, where you can submit a question and receive a personalized reading.
