in these next few posts i will be talking about how little human life is actually valued, focusing on s*xual violence, etc.
but first, just to start getting into actual the facts, what is sa? is it different than rap3?
rap3 is always sa, but sa is not always rap3
let me explain, the definition of rap3, lawfully, is:
"The penetration, no matter how slight, of the vagina or anus with any body part or object, or oral penetration by a sex organ of another person, without the consent of the victim."
while the definition of sa is more broad:
"S*xual assavlt is any type of contact or behavior that occurs without the explicit consent of the recipient. Falling under the definition of s*xual assavlt are sexual activities such as f0rced sexual intercourse, forcible s0domy, child m0lestation, incest, fondling, and attempted rap3."
"includes any wrongdoing that involves sexually touching another person or exploiting a person sexually, even if no touching is involved."
some sexual offenses include -
f0rcing the victim to touch sexual body parts
penetrating a victim with a penis or any object that's not used for a medical purpose
some non-touching sexual offenses include -
indecent acts, such as exposure or exhibitionism in front of a person
making a person watch pornography
making a person watch masturbation or sexual intercourse
in short, sa only becomes rap3 once penetration is involved. but ive heard of the term "m0lestation" aswell, how does that differ?
"Another term for s*xual abvse and assavlt, usually used to describe abvse of a child or helpless victim"
"S*xual abvse can happen to people of all ages, but m0lestation only happens to individuals under the statutory age - 16-18 years old, depending on the state."
"M0lestation is also used when incest happens by a relative, where a family member is a minor. Same as s*xual abvse, m0lestation is only seen as rap3 when there's penetration."
both child s*xual abvse and child m0lestation include s*xual harassment and unwanted s*xual attention such as -
unwanted touching in a sexual way
touching a child's genital area, or breasts in females
f0rcing a child to preform oral sex
f0rcing a child to watch pornography
masturbating infront of a child
to summarize, "M0lestation most often refers to an instance of s*xual assavlt against a small child, whereas s*xual abvse is a term used for a persistent pattern of s*xual assavlts." though the terms s*xual assavlt and s*xual abvse *legally* are nearly identical.
now we know what rap3, s*xual assavlt, s*xual abvse, and m0lestation actually are by definition.
