Wench’s Beginner CP77 Photomode + Posing Tutorial 2.0
I received a lot of positive feedback about the tutorial I threw together kind of on a whim in October, but between being limited by Tumblr's posting options and putting it together fairly quickly, there had been some things I wanted to change for a while. After AMM got a swanky new update in December, I figured that was a good time to give the guide an overhaul. Unfortunately, I ended up with some pretty severe health issues during January, and this little project got pushed back until... Well, now. 😘
One small caveat: Most of this tutorial was written on game patch 1.3 and AMM 1.12 so there might be a few discrepancies in the screenshots of the menus. I edited the text where appropriate, but new screenshots will have to be a project for another day.
A Step-by-Step Exercise to Create a Scene with Johnny & V
In an effort to hopefully make the process more approachable, I put together a very detailed step-by-step section (complete with visuals!) that walks users through the whole process of installing CET, AMM, posing mods, and putting together a simple practice scene using some of AMM's most common tools. If you don't know where to start, start here!
Vanilla Photomode Tips
Although this guide just by its nature is geared more towards PC players, I wanted to include some information that I think could be helpful to players on consoles or who don't have access to high-end hardware. I see many of y'all say things like "sorry, I can't take cool photos" but I'm here to tell you that yes, you can! There's more to cool shots than 4K textures, ReShade, and ray tracing.
Info on Where to Find Mods & Good Organization Practices
I feel like the number of mods grows exponentially on a daily basis, and pose sets alone can come with over a hundred files--These sections are largely optional, but they might help anyone overwhelmed by 8 Discords with almost identical names and having 37 mod folders and 142 lose .archive files on their desktop. 👀
In-Depth Explanations of AMM's Tools and Posing Options
If you feel like you're ready for more advanced information, I've still included a lot of details about most of AMM's tools (Director mode is still excluded) as well as a full section about swapping, poses and locomotions, and locations.
