74 Days before the Board Exam I think the schedule I made was too ambitious 😔 I am so so behind my schedule even though all I did is to answer and answer problems. So I think I have to and I'll revise my sched by tomorrow because I still have a chapter to finish tonight and its already 11pm 😭 I was answering my practical accounting books when I told my friend that there's just too many problems to answers, and asked her if Ireally have to answer this all. And she simply said is that its the same in all subjects which lead me to a realization -- Just do it! Don't mind how many problems are left unanswered. Just continously answer problems.

Hi! I am Sam, the owner of this blog. I am back here after 6 years. 2015. OMG. It’s 2021 and I can’t believe how much I have grown and changed. I was just a student back then. I was a 2nd-year Accountancy student. Now I am a working person. I can’t believe I was able to finish my studies on time. I mean - not that I doubted myself back then. It’s just I did not expect that I would be able to graduate and pass the boards. Woah! 6 years. You know what? I just really winged my college days. Hehehe. Kidding! Of course I also put effort. I also worked hard, especially during the review season. During college, I did have a lot of things on my plate. I was working as a student assistant. I joined dancing/cheer dance competitions. I was appointed as one of the officers of our program (course) organization. I enjoyed bonding with my friends. You see, I am pretty social. I was pretty active back then. In my final year (5th), I tried to focus on my studies. I did quit from other stuff. Parties and bonding with friends were still present but minimized. We also did group study sessions. Good thing, I was able to pass and graduate last 2019. After that, I immediately enrolled in a review school and spent 4 months preparing for the licensure exam. Focused and determined - I was able to pass the boards!

It’s 2021 now. It’s my 2nd year of working as an Audit Associate in a professional services firm. I work from home due to the pandemic.

During these past few years, I experienced a lot. I think all of those experiences change me somehow. I just wish that my core values will still be intact. I wish to keep my creativity and my playfulness. I will try my best not to forget how to become a happy, creative, and playful kid at heart.

Just few more days na lang and CPA board exam na.. to all CPA board takers, i know that you prepared for the board for more than 5 years (undergrad and the review). I know hindi biro ang mga preparation and mga bagay na pinagdaanan niyo but i hope that you take your time to relax especially the day before the board. The night before the board, as much as possible have a rest and sleep early para the next day fresh and nakacondition ang utak niyo to take the board. Pray and avoid worrying, i know it is easier said than done, but worrying is the last thing you need. Surrender all your worries to God 

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” - Philippians 4:6-7

and whatever happens remember this 

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” - Jeremiah 29:11.

Kapag satingin ko madali yung Exam, resulta nun ay babagsak ako. 

Leche! Ito yung ayokong isipin, namadali yung exam kasi alam ko na magiging resulta ko proven and tested nung undergrad. Hahaha. Di bale may tatlo pa!

I PASS!

I can't contain my happiness ever since the moment I see my name on the list of passers. GOD IS REALLY GREAT! I know I asked for too much during the board exam but He still help me the way I never deserve. We shall always believe in Him talaga. Papa God, Papa Jesus from the bottom of my heart I wanna thank you more than these words. I am so overwhelm up until now. Iba pala talaga yung feeling kapag ikaw na yung nakapasa.
