currently thinking about the cpds playing never have I ever and someone (maybe vanessa?) does "never have I ever hooked up with jonathan" and like 3/4 of the group takes a drink

and vanessa and dennis stare at all of them like 😦

in chronological order:

max slept with jonathan only once, in the very very early days, maybe even before the society was formed. it was probably an experimental thing for one or both of them. yeah, max was trying to see whether he's actually into brunettes (he is). in fact max may have been the one who invited jonathan into the society- chris needed to recruit more people and max was like I know a guy. yeah idk if he acts but he's pretty decent in bed. and then jonathan hit it off immediately with the love of max's life, so :/

sandra is an obvious one. they debated for a while whether her relationship with him counted, because it wasn't really "hooking up," but it didn't matter either way because the two of them actually got drunk and had sex at a party about three weeks before they started dating. so sandra definitely hooked up with him

and annie in ppgw. again, they debated- does kissing count as hooking up? they never did come to a conclusion (despite annie being strangely vehement about her opinion that it totally counts), but it didn't matter, because she had already taken the drink by that point

robert claimed it to be a moment of weakness. it was pretty quick after his divorce with denise, and they were both tipsy, and they had the same sense of humor, so they figured, y'know, why not? strangely pleasant for both of them. they'd actually taken a vow of silence that jonathan was mildly annoyed at robert for breaking, but robert wanted to win the game! ("that's not how you win," chris said, and robert dumped a shot of alcohol over his head)

for chris it was a weirdly uneventful moment? it was after rehearsal, and jonathan had stayed late for extra help with one thing or another, and he offered to help chris with answering hatemail in return, and, well, one thing led to another. they both promptly agreed that they were better as friends

and trevor, the most recent of them all. I feel like. it would be a fake dating scenario. trevor didn't want to field questions about his love life over the holidays or whatever, and jonathan's parents and sister were vacationing in the bahamas or wherever, so jonathan agreed to go with trevor as his "boyfriend" for a week or two. jonathan was very flirty and wanted to go all out, doing the stereotypical "plan our responses about our past" bit, and trevor was annoyed at first but it grew on him. and for a week, they were sleeping in the same bed (at trevor's family's insistence), and, well. y'know. neither could find a reason why not.

dang. now I wanna write several fics about this various scenarios

CPDS Stretches & Massages

Chris — Doesn't stretch as often as his other actors, until forced to by someone else. Banned from stretching with Robert after an incident leading to an A&E visit. Usually pairs with Vanessa or Jonathan for stretches. Is reluctant about massages until Trevor works out a knot in his shoulder that makes him instantly more agreeable to everyone.

Max — Pairs for stretches with Sandra!! Of course!! Always careful with his lovely, lovely wife. Gives her the best massages, which prevent her from getting snippy with people.

Lucy — When she's around, she likes to pair with Dennis for stretches.

Robert — Usually stretches by himself after the A&E incident, or is paired with Jonathan. Goes to a professional masseuse and somehow pays for it.

Jonathan — Will help anyone stretch, and is a surprisingly decent masseuse for post-show aches.

Annie — A stickler for warm-ups and stretches. Will help anyone stretch, and make sure they are properly warmed up. Like Jonathan, a decent enough masseuse. She can help with shoulders, but recommends people to see a professional every once in a while.

Dennis — A nice stretch partner, though he gets a little confused sometimes, and his brain refuses to understand instructions sometimes. (He can get a little frustrated when he knows he's having a hard time understanding.) A wicked masseuse, learned about muscles through a book and a youtube rabbit hole, and that information stuck in his brain.

Trevor — Doesn't stretch often, but will stretch with Annie on occasion. Gives Chris the best massages because Jesus fucking Christ he needs it. Is the only one allowed to even mildly invade Chris's personal space after a show. Has successfully prevented Chris from losing it on his cast more times than anyone can count.

Vanessa — Nice stretch partner, is very careful and often checks in with who she's stretching with. One will never feel more relaxed stretching than with Vanessa. Learned a little about massages, and is very helpful about it all. As with stretches, she's very attentive and checks in often.

Sandra — Stretches with Max, and duitifully makes sure the two of them are the most ready. Warm-ups and warm-downs are a necessity. Knows her husband intimately (in the non-sexual way, she knows every freckle and smile line and little quirk of Max's), and it would be a losing battle to separate the two. You've never seen two people more in love. They're sickeningly sweet in the best possible way.

i want to make Mischief the cat canon

Mischief thoughts:

- female black cat

- small girl, only around 9 pounds

- someone at some point had the foresight to get her spayed

- she doesnt officially have a home, but couchsurfs local Cornley homes

- she is very chatty with humans she likes, and will respond if talked to (Trevor will chat with her while he builds sets)

- Mischief got her name from causing general chaos around the area, including intentionally hopping in trash bins and knocking them over. Someone was heard asking her "Are you causing mischief, young lady?" and it caught on.

- everyone at CPDS takes turns buying Mischief food

- Mischief's favourite human is unsurprisingly Trevor

- her least favourite human(s) are local idiot tweens who find it funny to throw things at her (theyre obviously reprimanded when caught)

- Mischief's favourite place to get scritches is under her chin

- she dislikes pets on anywhere but her head, except from a select few (which includes Trevor and Lucy)

okay im going to make that long post about cpds disabilities but it will take a hot minute because I am technically at work (it's slow af) so very sorry to non-Americas friends if that post is at hell o'clock at night

I feel like it's only fair I share a thought for each sunflower, especially after what you shared for my ask

1. so This ^ that @identittycrisis put in the tags of my Chris-secretly-loves-ABBA post inspired me to put ABBA on before I went out today and then "Super Trouper" played and I couldn't help but think of Mamma Mia (Meryl (⸝⸝⸝´꒳`⸝⸝⸝)) and oh my gods what if Annie, Vanessa, and Sandra got together and sang "Super Trouper" with those wonderful costumes and all. They could pull it off. Ness especially with her lovely voice (thank you, Bryony Corrigan 🙏)

2. Chris Bean eyeliner Chris Bean eyeliner oh my gods it looks so good on him with the Mr. Darling outfit???? maybe it's the lack of Hook wig but holy shit I'm gay

(it's at this point we ((I)) realise who is fronting (('I' is fronting, and 'me' is Trev. oops.)))

3. Found scripts of The Play That Goes Wrong, and they've each got slightly different stage directions, so we have a good comparison to look at and comprehend the play better. There's only so much one can gleam from uploaded YouTube videos that don't use the same music, or just seem that little bit off from a character standpoint. (Oh, look, it's Chris now. Hello. -🫘)

4. We gave Chris OCD. Based on us. (Chris the character, not Chris the alter who came from the character.)

5. 💙 I've been having too many christrev thoughts (🫘 You say that, but you're not ashamed about it.) and I keep writing things, so have a few lines from IV.i:

Trevor. That was it. Trevor was the cause of Chris’s flushed face and stuttering heart.

6. Chris's favourite monologue is 'To be or not to be...' Mind, he fully comprehends the meaning behind the words. He maybe likes the speech a little too much. (trev + Beans approved - Don’t worry, I myself just like it for the dramatics. ~🫘)

7. <- saying "SEVEN" has become a vocal stim, like big stim ~💙

8. Trevor will only admit this to Annie and MAYBE Chris, but he likes Much Ado About Nothing (trev approved)

9. ok so rio and girls on film are the two top songs on my spotify playlist and when we went through the script of play, we learned that those two were the like. canonical songs or whatever so uh. take that as you will? also im the one who really likes duran duran. nathan does not like them as much, and his favourite is the talking heads cover, psycho killer ~trev 🔹️ (i dont have a specific emoji + i dont want one)

sidenote: no one told Chris and Trevor that Max and Sandra would be Gomez and Morticia. In fact, the two were separately told they should totally wear that specific suit (Chris) and they should dress slightly fancier and redo their nails (Trevor). Of course, this was a ploy by the others to see the two as the most loving and accepting couple in modern media history.
