The whole day had been gloomy and rainy, but there was a time where the sun finally showed itself a little. Bright sun rays shone through the grey clouds, showing the sun was still out there behind the dark blanket. It was the perfect time to go out and do some quick grocery shopping! Aiko walked to her favourite little shop while softly humming, the temperature was great. Not too cold, not too warm.. Though there was a cold breeze sometimes.
Just when she wanted to go around the corner, she stopped in her tracks. No, it couldn’t be.. There, a bit in the distance, walked a figure. A person which looked all too familiar. Could it be.. A strange feeling made its presence in her chest. Joy, but also a bit of confusion and sadness. As she neared the male, she wasn’t really walking anymore, but rather jogging. Her only friend she had at the time. Her friend. The only person she could call a friend back then, at one point he wasn’t there anymore. Gone. But now, he was walking right here! She placed her hand on the male’s shoulder and passed him, now standing in front of him. A bright smile on her lips as bright blues peered back at his. It was him!
