Can I Make Games for Kids?
Although we'd love to allow you, our valued creators, to publish games for children under the age of 12, an Act of Congress prevents us from allowing it.
The Consumer Products Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) requires that all products manufactured for children under the age of 12 have an entirely different testing protocol that provides additional protection from choking, toxins, and malfeasance.
So all games on The Game Crafter must be for an audience that is 12+. Please note that if you attempt to market your game to a younger audience, (either through the shop page or on the game packaging), then we will lock the game and remove it from the shop.
