IT WAS THE THIRD TIME Vanya woke up in the strange room, locked up. The room wasn’t strange in itself, but it was vastly different from where he’d been before, and he couldn’t remember traveling. That wasn’t a big surprise, either. It had happened a lot already. No, what was really strange was that nobody was coming for him. They left him alone. Sometimes he could hear people walk by, but nobody entered, nobody unlocked the door. Vanya could do whatever pleased him. There wasn’t a lot, though. He couldn’t read the books. The tablet required a password he didn’t know and couldn’t figure out. The view from the window showed a construction site and some shrubbery, and every now and then a group of people, jogging. At least the radio was easy enough to deal with, even though the people there talked a lot in English. (This was another clue that he wasn’t in this nice African country anymore. The thought made him a little sad. He’d liked it there.)

The music changed to a bored-sounding man who was probably reading the news. He was talking about a storm. Vanya reached out to turn the volume down when the control broke all of a sudden. There was a ping! sound and Vanya stared at the little key that had fallen out of the hole somebody had carved into the volume control. Then he looked around wildly because there were always people watching him. 

Nothing happened.

Vanya decided to risk it. They would probably punish him for it, but at least something would happen. He was bored out of his mind. He took the key carefully and walked over to the locked up door. It fit perfectly. Giddy with excitement, Vanya opened up and tiptoed out of the room. There was a long hallway with more doors. Nobody came running for him, so he walked down the corridor until he came to an open space with lots of little couches and armchairs. There was a long row of bookshelves and a man sitting in one of the armchairs. He was really attractive. Vanya appreciated the curve of his biceps for a few seconds before he said: “Hello.”

           “Well, that’s what happens when you accept the Captain America shield.” He grins, but it quickly vanishes because he can sense that Wilson is feeling really uncomfortable with the stares and pointing. It’s something he needs to get used to, but Bucky is not an asshole, so he puffs up a little to shield Wilson from the inquiring eyes. (It doesn’t really work, though, because they’re two equally buff men.)

          Then he gets an idea. The smirk returns to Bucky’s face as he nudges the other man with his shoulder. “You know, there’s something that could help… public displays of affection make people very uncomfortable,” he declares. He will never not be amused about Steve’s story of him and Romanoff being on the run. “So if you wanna hold my hand, you’re allowed to.”

"That was one hell of a hit, Wilson."

He'd watched it go down and hadn't been able to get to his friend in time. They'd ended up taking down their target, but not before his friend had the beginnings of a bruise colouring his skin. A part of him felt bad but this was part of their life. At least there weren't any broken bones.

"Sorry all I have is frozen vegetables. Probably easier to deal with than ice."

There’s a perfectly reasonable explanation for the sheer amount of bruises covering his face, just like there’s a perfectly reasonable explanation for showing up at Sam’s doorstep dripping wet and looking a mess. Of course, he’s not going to give up that explanation very easily. He’d much rather act as if there’s absolutely nothing wrong and avoid the conversation entirely. 

          Is his cheek bleeding? Feels like it’s bleeding. 

                    “Hey, Sam. I brought beer.”

the  first   thing  he  did  the  moment  the  house  sold  was  buy  a  flight  to  paris.   chad   deserved  a  vacation  &    god  he  was  grateful  to  be  out  of  there  !   even  though   him  &  patrick  broke  up  months  ago  ,  chad  had  come  home  to  his  fair  share  of  tmi.    being  forced  to  live  with  your  ex  was  brutal  ,   he  would  very  much  not  recommend  it.     so  he  is  perfectly  content  sitting  on  his  first  class  flight   next  to  a  handsome  stranger  ,   three  glasses  of  wine  in  watching  the  notebook.          ❝    the   end  always  gets   me      ❞      he    speaks   tearfully   ,    his  head   at  some  point   had    drifted   to  rest  on  the  other  mans  shoulder  .     ❝       i  want  that  .  not  the  tragedy  but  ,   that        ❞       chad    keeps   pointing  at  the  screen  a  stupid   smile  on  his  face  ,  reaching  over  to  grab  his  glass  again.      darn   empty.    ❝       guess  i  need  a  refill  ,   you  need  another  one    ?     ❞

☠ What does someone have to do for an instant unfollow from you?

i don’t typically unfollow people instantly. i’m fairly chill and tolerant when it comes to things. i can think of ONE time i actually unfollowed instantly but they’d been on the chopping block for awhile for their behavior and how they handled things. and it was basically about shitting on the fandom we were in as a whole and then trying to backtrack on it and still trying to be a part of it. nah . we don’t do that kind of disrespect here. 

for me to USUALLY unfollow people ( i’ve done a cleanout recently just for my own sanity ) it tends to be posting of consistent negative ooc . like i get it. we all have bad days but when its literally every single day i can’t handle it. you do you but i tend to feed of that stuff like a magnet and it brings me down. i can’t allow that in my bubble. no one wants a meanroe .
