Just sharing: Amber Run's "5am" kind of makes me think of something OBD-Bucky would write and sing, in particular the chorus. & idk I just imagine Steve coming home late from work one night and hearing Bucky singing it at the piano and he both wants to cry because it sounds so sad and heartbreaking but also feels so full of love because look at his Sweetheart composing such beautiful music and ahgjhskldgfh; I just have so many feels about OBD&MH

omg i can totally see this happening, yes. We don’t really get into much in the story itself, but Bucky does have a very nice voice. He’s never trained it or anything, for obvious reasons, given the universe, but with his permission to compose now, he’ll hum and sing to himself a whole lot more when he’s working on something. 

Sometimes he’ll get lost in a tune that’s floating around in his head and just start singing out loud so he doesn’t forget the words that have come to mind. Forget it when he’s in the house alone. 

There’re times Steve comes back from work and the whole place is filled with Bucky’s music. Notes that swirls around Steve and soft words that pull him closer to his Sweetheart. He’s always so amazed. By Bucky. By the world. By everything they’ve done. Together. 

Maybe Bucky’ll catch him standing there, tears in his eyes, watching -- sometimes he does, others he doesn’t -- but Steve will always be there. Always to listen to every song that Bucky composes from his heart. Hearing it beat.
