Day two of walking with crutches: Don had almost fallen over a few times while traversing the hallways of the hotel with crutches on.
(It should be noted that he took the elevator to avoid the second floor, he doesn’t want to be reminded of what caused his fractured left knee and foot.)
Just as he was about to sit down on the lobby’s couch, he heard a faint ‘whoosh’, head turning up in time to see Alastor fall face up on the floor...
Bleeding from his abdomen... 3...2...1:
“ALASTOR!” Without thinking, Don shoved the crutches aside, letting them fall with a heavy ‘thud’ on the ground as he tried to rush over to the wounded Radio Demon, not caring if his casted left leg was being dragged onto the ground.
“What the Heaven happened?!” It was odd for the usually stoic and calm hotel guard to show ‘surprise’ in his stoic brown eyes, let alone raise his voice to yell out his ally’s name in pure concern, heart and breathing growing rapid in the process.
(In all truth, he was reminded of a very important memory of his past alive life in the undead apocalypses... Of... Her.)
He removed his jacket, throwing it over Alastor’s wound to delay the bleeding.
