@hellizens asked: Angel is on break (for now) and Vox had taken notice. Val's off yelling at someone else, most likely, so the media overlord takes the opportunity to slide on up beside the spider while he's smoking and pull his e-cig out of his suit's inner pocket.

angel was getting real tired of val's bullshit. how many times has he let it slide? too many to count. he's now fed up and he's just wanting to find a way to get out of this mess. but how? he's contracted to him. how could he find a way out when he'll just get pulled back into this sickening melody.

just when his smoke break would end up being stress free, one of val's boy toy had to come in and bother him. he scoffs "'nd why th' fuck is you askin'? ya got sent ta keep tabs on me or somethin'?"

Knock knock knock. "Alastor?" That's Lucifer's voice. "Are you awake? Can we talk? It's important."

Alastor was actually not awake.. until Lucifer knocked on the door. He lifted his head grumpily and then whipped his lips with his wrist.

"Oh hum.. Just a second" he said, yawning and stretching. He stood up and ran a hand through his hair in an attempt at brushing them, closing his night shirt. He was simply ready to go to bed for the night early.

"Come in, Sorry for the mess, I was heading to sleep early" he explained, sitting on the bed tiredly.

Now this was the prime entertainment he signed up for. It may not be the prime objective he was (forced to be) here, but he could always count on this girl to light up his day with her…idiotic antics.

Alastor watched as the fire swept over the floor of the kitchen, certain he felt tears from repressed laughter building in his chest. “So does ANTI BACTERIAL SOAP, SWEETHEART!” he called loudly over the roaring flames.

They’re getting bigger now, and he sighs when he realizes he may need to step in to help. Again. “Oh excellent job darling, I don’t think anything will be surviving these flames. You’ve clearly cracked the code!”

Beelzebub wasn't into bringing anyone's vibe's down, even if she didn't really talk to the Overlords all that much. "Anyway, I got some parties being thrown in the Pride Ring and I want you to help promote it. You and the Vee's will get to come of course and I'll even let you swipe a few souls. Just as long as you don't ruin my parties."

Ah, such an obvious lie. Granted, Charlie is always on about 'forgiveness' and 'forming new bonds', so Alastor supposes that, technically, it's possible that Vox was invited.

He could send the other overlord on his way anyway, use some fancy wordplay to tell him to get back to his own territory and annoy people there. Or, he could see where this is going and have a little fun of his own in the meantime.

"Aha! I'm so very glad to see you could make it!" Striding across the lobby, Alastor greets Vox like an old friend, ignoring any confused looks directed their way. "I do hope your viewers can spare you long enough for you to enjoy what our fine establishment has to offer, I know how limited their attention spans can be." Okay, maybe not quite like a friend after all.
