I want to talk to people.
Yes part of this site is about rping with one another, and making sure that our muses talk to one another and potentially grow closer (or try to rip one another apart, but some of us want that too). But I do not want to just have the rp and nothing else. To be able to talk to one another and talk theoretical about our muses, or talk about ships.
Hell, being able to talk about anything at all helps. Some of us just like to talk to one another, while others of us genuinely feel like people don’t like us when there is general silence. We want to form relationships, and for some of us starting interactions is hard enough that trying to find the courage to talk to someone OOC separately is nearly impossible to find.
This is an open invitation to come and talk to us. Make people feel welcome. RPing is more fun with other people anyways.
"I see... So your summoner was... Causing more unwanted problems for you." The hotel guard summed up Alastor's situation with a brief summary.
"... While I do understand the many reasons for someone to summon a demon from Hell, they should understand the repercussions that come with it... Should have done research before doing so." Even so, Don was mentally preparing himself to be summoned one day... Perhaps someone from his living world might finally discover a way to do so... He only hoped it wouldn't be his former leader/killer.
Alastor simply nodded in confirmation at his friend's conclusion, leaning back in his seat a little. He had to agree, those who turned to invoking a demon to get what they desired should really do their research before even making an attempt. Then again, it was a limited selection of demons they had to pick from.
Not just any demon could strike a deal, and even fewer could leave Hell to do so. Overlords had exclusivity when it came to striking deals. A summon would come in, and it was a matter of first come, first serve. He just so happened to be the one who had gotten to this one first, given the fact that the fellow had the qualities he was looking for. And while he was now regretting taking it, considering the amount of trouble it had caused, at least he had a new toy to inconvenience as he saw fit.
"Mortals often do not consider the whole picture, I fear. And certainly, they do not always do their due diligence in terms of what is required of them when summoning a demon."
"... And yet, they take the risks and do so, even if said requirements are to take the life of a fellow mortal human in the process." And that alone resulted in instant damnation in Heaven's view.
"To learn is to avoid such risks, and avoid having both the summoner's life and soul taken away in the process."

"Not yet, actually... But I should when I get the chance to, Miss Charlie... Please let me know if they come to visit while I'm on patrol or I'm out doing errands, I'll return to the hotel immediately to meet them." Technically the only sin Don's ever met was King Lucifer, but the rest of the Sins were important figures that he was prepared to encounter one day.
"... Now that I think about it, how come the other sins weren't aware of Mr Vox's attempt to attack Heaven? I know they're occupied with their own ring, but they should have at least came when your father was... Held hostage as a energy source to Mr Vox's superweapon? I have a feeling that once they find out, they will not be happy with the outcome." Perhaps they knew that Vox would fail right from the start, or that they knew that coming to help Lucifer might allow Vox to manipulate the situation further, try to turn the sinners against the sins themselves in the process.
"Either way, we must be prepare for any bad outcomes from the sins should they come to visit the hotel." The change in subject did allow Don to be distracted from the dreaded weapon sitting between him and his boss, taking another slow sip of his warm tea.
"I don't think they were aware. I didn't even know until we broke the weapon," Charlie admitted. "And by then the Vees had been defeated. There wasn't much for them to do."
"Uncle Ozzie and Aunt Bee were aware of Vox's attempt to take on Heaven before the gala but it seemed kinda, ya know, crazy so they didn't take it seriously. I'm not sure about the others, I haven't talked to them about it yet."
"But I really should invite one of them here so they can see what we're doing at the hotel. I've told Bee about it before and she's been supportive about the idea. I'll send her an invite and let you know when she's going to visit," Charlie said, feeling certain that her aunt would say yes.
She whipped out her phone making a quick note to call her aunt later. She was also ignoring the bat, letting it simply sit there and exist.
"That would be much appreciated, Miss Charlie." The hotel guard was already making plans on what to do once the Sins come to the hotel, mainly doing his job but being careful not to overstep any lines.
"Your father and Mr Alastor took a lot of injuries at the hands of Mr Vox and the Vees, we should also make sure they're doing okay." Given everything that occurred, King Lucifer would need a lot of time to recover... Alastor… Well, Don knew that the overlords often hid their weaknesses in the public.
The bat was ignored by Don as well, making sure to avoid looking at it when he redirected his eyes towards the direction of it.
"... And... I'm very relieved to finally see that Sir Pentious is safe... He's finally the hotel's first redeemed sinner... But... It's not really the same noise here at the hotel ever since Angel Dust left us after the victory gala." He restrained his violent urge to go back to the V Tower and finish Vox off, learning from Husk that the spider sinner was living in guilt after learning that he was hypnotized by Vox to be an undercover mole for the hotel.
As Don entered the kitchen, his eyes caught sight of the new tea bag sitting on the counter, walking over to pick it up to examine it, opening the bag to give a quick sniff before looking over at his friend.
"You got a new tea for me to try? Thank you, sir... I'll start seeping up a tea bag for one right away with your coffee." There were some teas that Don never got to try because he didn't know they even existed, so he nodded to Alastor in thanks before pulling out a tea bag out of the bag to set up for later once the teapot was done warming up alongside the coffee maker.
"Well, as we wait for our drinks... Are you okay with you explaining your whereabouts during your brief absence?"
Alastor waited patiently, simply observing the other as he entered the kitchen. He was always an observant individual, and he had gotten a habit of keeping an eye on Don. His expressions. Just to make sure that all was well.
He straightened up some, moving one leg over the other.
"It is a longer story, really. But to keep it short, I had a rather.. Difficult client, who was apparently so, incredibly incompetent that he requested my presence for the duration of our contract. For safety reasons, he claimed. But really, it was due to the fact that he could not handle anything on his own. Jerry now works in eternal accounting, and I am having a grand time coming up with ways to inconvenience him at all times for the trouble he caused me~"
