i live in kansas and people go outside to see if they can spot the tornado

My neighbor was at the end of his driveway looking at the sky and then when I came back upstairs his wife was out there too

i always wondered why howard was a bad father because he never felt like a guy that would abuse his kid. but after that episode im like ohhh that makes a lot more sense . i think thats his and tonys flaw that they both get way to obsessed over their mistakes and how to fix them and then it gets to the point where thats all they can focus on

tru. also i think he’s always been callous, i mean his relationships with ppl arent that great, but the whole thing with steve doesnt make that better

do you ever think because what happened to howard when he was mind controlled he became obsessed with the idea of finding steve. i mean that has to be sorta traumatizing to think that he found steve and then to realize he didnt. that he failed his friend on top of being mind controlled and almost killing a lot of people. idk i thought about that when i watched the season finally of agent carter

YES I DO. and god, both peggy and howard being in love with steve, and how they tried to process that in different ways. and for howard, shield was never enough, couldn't ever be enough, so he keeps obsessing over steve, and i wouldn't doubt that there are periodic times where peggy had to call the shots and take care of business because howard was losing it after this kind of incident, and on the bright side its that kind of ruthless tenacity that allows howard to be the creative genius he is. on the downside, he's so consumed with this love for a dead man that he doesn't have any to spare for his son.

tbh i wonder if tony stark would have ever looked at steve and asked why he was so much more important to howard than he was.
