 hi. I’m 18 years old and I J U S T hopped on the hogwarts bandwagon. literally. I watched the entire series for the first time about a weekish(?) ago. and i absolutely love it ! so I’m hoping this rp group will be super fun and stuff, but if I do mess up on some HP terminology or facts, help a sis out tysm jsiojfiofs

Hello everyone! My name is Poppy the mun behind Herbology Professor Jasper Moon and I am so excited to be here! So far everyone seems terribly nice and I shall get back to all who welcomed me. That being said, you can check out my plots page or like this post if you have an idea for a plot and I will try to do get back to you asap! Check down below for a few fun facts about Jasper.

Also small fyi I will try to submit the Herbology exam as soon as I can so everyone hit the books!

Jasper is a half blood 26 year old, former ravenclaw who used to get bullied a bit by his classmates for always having a bigger passion for plants than the books (main argument: he wasn’t ravenclaw enough) which made him a bit shy to strangers

His love for plants comes from his muggle mother being a botanist so he grew up around plants and knowing a lot about them.

However he wouldn’t mind the haters and kept following his passion until he landed an opportunity to follow a renowned herbologist around the world to investigate plants.

However ( and this is what no one knows about him) he got so good he was targeted by his best friend, who was jealous of all the attention, once Jasper told him he found this super rare plant. So he tried to kill him by shoving him into an incoming landslide before disappearing (his heart actually kinda stopped for a minute before getting rescued)

Since then Jasper has to walk around with a cane because of the injury he has on his leg from the “accident” and suffers from PTSD

To help with his issues and to hide from further threats Jasper gave up his shining career in herbology to teach instead.

He really loves plants okay he wants to share the love with his students and will be disappointed if he sees students slacking off in his class.

Think of him as a professor snape in a weird herbology version.

He will ignore you if you ask about what happened to his leg.

his father is someone he has a love-hate relationship with but he thinks is mum is the best

favourite season is spring but weather is snowy!! his favourite avenger is cp and he also loves women with straight and long hair-

hi, hello! call me, ara. i'm new around here- i'll be playing this semi-awkward, semi-sweet ravenclaw babe, cas. ( i just wanted to throw this out here and say thanks to all those who sent out a welcome- ;-; ya'll spammed my inbox so fast, it made my head spin. i've never been a part of such a welcoming community~ ) i look forward to being here with all of you and look even more forward to writing. i also there's not much that you can get out of his biography, but down below is essentially a gist of the wildride that was his adolescence. i only have a plot page up right now, but i'm open to things beyond that. here it is! plot page. feel free to take a look. without further ado, look down below for his tldr past.

— his name is castor obviously. ( call him cas for short. ) — he was brought up in oxford, england by his mother and by his biological uncle. — about that, so his mother and his uncle were both gryffindors- their families arranged for them to be married. BUT his mother had an affair with his father-his uncle's estranged brother-because lol, she was in love with him and that's how castor was conceived. — okay, more on that. so, his family has a habit of being only inclusive toward to gryffindors in attempt to keep their line "pure". ( it's complete bs, but yeah. ) so when castor's real dad was sorted into slytherin, his family disowned him like how castor's not real dad did. — cas didn't even bat a lash when the man "disowned" him or when he found out that he wasn't his real father. ( hc: he figured it out when he was eight. ) — his not dad was a prick tbh. ( forced cas to do a lot of things he didn't want to do. ) — i have an entire headcanon list of what the prick did and will only disclose it to those who ask because it contains a lot of, emotional and psychological abuse. — after his first year at hogwarts, he and his mother moved in with his biological father and let me tell you, it was lit. — jk, they were much more like a family than they were before. and his real dad wasn't a prick. — there's more on that too, but i'll add all of this to his tidbit page or something. now onto some of the weird shit my son does. getting to know castor choi. — ravenclaw and (quitely) proud. — his hooter name is @polluxsucks, only because he's making an obscure reference to the dioscuri in greek myth. ( he giggled a lot while coming up with that. ) — this kid will make a joke about an obscure reference and laugh at it to himself regardless of whether anyone understands it. — #smartbutdoesnttry. his grades are still above average. — if he wants to know something, then he'll go by any means necessary to achieve the information he wants. — night wanderer. sneaks out in the dead of night to either wander around the castle or do something stupid like test out the effects of gillyweed in the great lake or do some light reading up in the astronomy tower. — likes to sing in the shower. — spaces out a lot. — reads ahead during lectures. — doesn't pay attention during lectures, but still knows the answers to questions. — loves writing more than breathing. — has a bunch of journals and will threaten everyone who tries to touch them. — people watching is one of his favorite past times. — doesn't like playing quidditch, but is great at it. ( his not dad forced him to learn to play growing up. ) — a long list of things that remind me of him include rumbled bedsheets. sarcasm. late night conversations. late nights in general. leather bound journals. well-read books. stargazing. pressed flowers. always has a pencil. knowing looks. charcoal covered hands. paint-stained skin. knotted earphones. dusty books. dancing alone. obscure interests. bad jokes. messy hair. sleeping in class. odd views. etc. — there's more, but i'll leave it at that for now. — stay tuned for his updated profile page later.

Obligatory introduction time! Thanks so much for all the welcomes and plot offers we’ve received so far, this is such a great community! I’ve got a few pages up for Win (bio & stats), but no plots just yet. I’ll work on those later this week, hopefully. Until then I’m happy to check your open plots or brainstorm. Ravenclaw - 3rd Upper Year - will be 22 in September (Virgo)

Future Auror; some sort of Ministry fanboy but still straddling the ‘lawful/neutral good’ line

Both of his parents were Aurors but his mother was quite established and rather well-known for her accomplishments. She operated under an alias and c a c k l e d every time someone who didn’t know her assumed that her partner and husband was ‘Monroe Moon,’ not the pretty little thing beside him.

She tragically passed away when Win was just about to turn 10, along with a baby sister he’d been very excited to meet. His father has not been able to recover from the loss.

Win lasted a couple months trying to take care of his dad and himself while going to school. He’s always been an industrious fellow but it wasn’t too long before neighbors and teachers began to suspect things weren’t going well at home.

Just before he started at Hogwarts, he moved in with his grandmother and his great-grandmother who are both feisty, zany old witches that live up to all the rumors their neighbors spread about them.

Very smart kid. Very, very smart. Studies all the time. Could probably teach a class or two himself but, he’s only interested in that Auror life.

Loves quidditch but doesn’t play. Is a TOTAL traitor and sits in the Hufflepuff bleachers when @crxfelix is playing. You can roast him, he deserves it.

Giant dork; in every sense of the word. Tall and a nerd, but he’s a pretty nice kid. Please be his friend \o/

hello, hello! as i am following everyone in the roster, i just wanted to introduce me and my muse briefly. my name is charlie and my pronouns are she/her. this is devin moon, my little confused baby snake. anyway, i am going to drop more info under the cut but like this if you’re opening for plotting. i can try to drop a short started based on a word orrrr you can check out the plots page > here <

devin is a seventh year

she spend a bit of her childhood in france so she speaks *gasps* french, english, and korean

she’s a hard-working little shit so a lot of her time is devoted to studying magic practically

she legitimately think she’s a vampire (some distant relative, she will tell anyone) and is very serious about it (hint:it’s a coping mechanism)

she loves the horror/gore/thrill genre and will die over some gothic literature. she’s a total fangirl

she’s been a bit of a loner for a bit and never really got around (aka. doesn’t know how) to making friends

in terms of relationships, platonic or otherwise, devin is little tsun-tsun, so when she gets flustered or “the feels” she defaults to frustration because she doesn’t know how to deal with the emotes.

well, hello there. i am charlie, the mun behind fabian here and it is very nice to meet you all. it’s a surprise it took me this long to apply seeing as i love hp and have seen the ads in the krp tag for literally months. but i’m lazy, so could never be bothered and that basically says everything you need to know about me. aaaanyway, it’s lovely to be here with you all and i am totally open to plotting, either through tumblr or through my discord (Chanmander#4852) or even kkt (Ch4nm4nder) if you want to use either of those. though i do seem to have an A+ in sucking ass at plotting and i’m still trying to work on a plot page, which i might get up, or it might just forever be a wip, who knows. but, with that out of the way, have some stuff about fabian under the cut her and i’ll reply to all your messages in just a moment. ^-^

meet fabian yeo, youngest of three boys, born and raised in exeter, muggleborn, hufflepuff, 7th year

completely terrible at magic, explosions and spells gone wrong are a common occurrence, but he literally doesn’t care and keeps trying anyway

actually good at lessons which do not involve waving a wand around, but still wants to be a healer anyway, so ggs with that buddy

likes to adopt other muggleborns, and anyone at this point, really, even if your older he will probably try and adopt you and smother you all in annoying love. because he loves doing that because he never gets the chance at home because he is the youngest

if you want to bully him because of the whole ‘terrible magic’ thing or the ‘muggleborn’ thing, he will be all  (ง'̀-'́)ง but he is an emotional pancake and will get wet about it even if you just poke him. though he pretends that nothing bothers him anyway

seems to think his wand is a scratching stick half the time and is always using it to scratch the back of his head, behind the ear, back... despite the fact he could probably end up hexing himself.... which he has in the past and has not learned his lesson

has a leopard gecko called chad, and chad is never where he should be and can usually be found either on fabian’s shoulder or on the top of his head while he’s studying. or in his pocket during class when he is really not supposed to bring him along, but does anyway.

likes reading upside down. i don’t know why. he just hangs upside down off chairs and reads like that, despite all the blood rushing to his head

he’s just a weird kid

was nearly at hatstall at the sorting between hufflepuff and gryffindor, he’s still embarrassed about the sorting and doesn’t like to talk about it, or anyone bringing it up, and likes to pretend that he was an easy pick for Hufflepuff. 

always. breaking. his. glasses. literally oculus reparo is his best friend at this point. he’s always knocking them off his face by accident or losing them. he really just needs lenses at this point, but is too lazy to get any

loves adventure and is always up for anything. especially if it involves pranking other houses (but don’t tell anyone that). 

loses shit all the time. he never knows where anything is and is always losing everything, uniform, pet and wand all included.
