Is….. is Bolaire going to sacrifice himself and become the relic needed for the bridge for the halfling (im assuming???) afterlife????

Now nothing has reeeeally pointed in that direction BUT watching the last hour/hour and a half of episode 31 and watching Bolaire talk about his stuff gave me a gigantic sudden thought that he might want to become the relic needed for that bridge because it was his decision and not because he was programmed to do it.

He’s one of my favorites in this campaign thus far I would be DEVASTATED if it happened.

I'm worried about Thaisha going off on her own. I thought for sure Vaelus or Kattigan would go with her.

I have hopes she'll meet Travis's new character out there before she gets into any trouble.

Also, I feel kinda bad for the Schemers - seems as soon as you get deep in schemes, you're stuck in town, juggling plots.

I am so confused about what Figment the lizard is supposed to be. Is it a mystery? Did everybody else figure it out when they watch the episode and I just missed it?

If I understood correctly a little lizard walked out on metaphorical camera with a mask like Bolaire, claimed with speech to be Bolaire, then claimed to be Figment. And it was trying to climb inside the psychopomp box.

I feel like I missed figuring out what happened to it and we just changed scenes and I don't know how it ended.

My theories, at least for now:

1. Tal took Pact of the Chain and this is his new familiar, which Brennan created for him and introduced in the most creepy yet ridiculous way possible.

2. Something something a gift from Demodis Blix?

3. Is this another sibling for real, named Figment?

I would love it if everyone would stop blowing off Bolaire's fears because he's communicating abrasively. He's got some very important very dangerous information that no one else has, and between his own imperfect communication and everyone else's refusal to listen without getting their hackles up, he can't quite seem to get them to hear it

How are we both so back and so fucked at the same time? Teor, Cyd, and Hannan without a flinch or a pause for breath. And then "meanwhile at the Hallowed Round". I don't typically agree with abusive assholes but Primus is right: we gotta get the fuck out of here.

Also: Thimble! Fuck yeah! I'm so sorry! And Thaisha my beloved...you better hope this city blows tf up (affectionate or derogatory). Nana Lloy said "post-haste". And she is definitely scarier than either of my grandmas.

maybe interesting avenues for bolaire’a character development will open if he really does complain to julien about the way thjazi treated him but julien, with finding out the whole deal about how bolaire operates, is like. what are you talking about. because julien could, i think, understand lack of desire in thjiazi to trust the entity that killed his comrades & potentially can threaten his brother. maybe he also could understand thjiazi not wanting to interact with bolaire directly if he's parasiting/has killed a person that wears him, especially if that someone is someone he knows. because so far i can’t see any growth, it’s like he is stuck at “i will write a different story. I’ll be kind and clever. but first I’m gonna kill these guys in their sleep.”
