~ CR catch-up update ~

Watched this over a long period of time, so I'm referencing some quick little notes I jotted down and the first one is just "love gaz." And past me was correct.

Now I welcome to the whole section of this post dedicated to the Dorym kiss including the lead up. "you have many things I'm envious of", liam slipping up with the ship name lol , "OH I WANT" (like gd robbie I see you). I'll never not enjoy the cast watching the big relationship moments unfold. It's always so fun. UGH love that it finally happened.

Buttt then things turned real stressful real quick. I'm going to have to have some words with Matt bc what do you meAN THAT LILLIANA IS GETTING FUNNELED BY LUDINUS. and then just cuts away to the mighty nein for who knows how long. RUDE MATTHEW.

But ofc loved seeing the M9 again in action. The Veth and Beau beef throughout the entire episode was beautiful. Sam is such a menace, just cackling while Marisha tries to figure out how to deal with his bs. I know it was only half an ep so far but I did really miss Robbie. I wonder if he'll pick up another pc like Cerkonos or if he's just taking a break for this bit. The amount of nat 1's was insane there for a minute. And speaking of problematic dice, I love the running bit that Ashley refuses not to use her fucked up die that always lands cocked just because it's pretty.

On a more serious note, I hope all the cast and crew are doing okay after the fires. I know at least Kyle lost his home and they have a gofundme started for him. Lmk if anyone wants the link!

i miss the earlier tbd updates. not to say this one isnt awful, its still fun; but that's all it is.

the tbd felt like it was the place for more mature stories. well "mature" this is still a childrens(?) game. but even still, timekeeper referenced killing someone that annoyed them (i think the specific line was 'Keep annoying me and I'll throw you back into the oven and weld the door shut!') im not looking for angst or grimdark stuff or anything, just something more than a saturday morning cartoon

speaking of tk, they used to be a genuine threat; someone who was largely unpredictable because they did things just for to see what would happen. now theyre just the eccentric cryptic director

back to the current story. the reveal that the time screw was the cause of everything felt really stupid. i was fully expecting tk to be the reason marble bread was having a bad time because they were fucking with him. i feel like anything other than an accident would have been more interesting idk

I just wish devsis wouldve replaced the pirate ship with OG breakout and not city of mt. That being said city of mt was broken to all fuck so i can see why they replaced it, u couldnt use any new cookies cus kf the linear abilities vs branching paths but like.. the pirate ship sucks ass
