So we had someone die, one of the girls tripped and fell in lava, and Sam’s character is DEFINITELY leaving now...
Am I talking about the latest episode or that one Raishan fight in Campaign 1?

Okay if I’m completely honest I didn’t expect Ikithon and the others to break into Tidepeak because it could potentially cause an international incident if essentially foreign black ops broke into a powerful wizard’s domain. I know Yussa’s not directly affiliated with Menagerie Coast politics but he still lives there, you know? I thought the very threat of his presence was enough to disuade Ikithon... I’ll go fetch my clown makeup.
It does have me thinking what the ramifications of this are going to be. Does this violate some kind of wizard treaty? Is the Cerberus Assembly at large now implicated? Is the Dwendalian Empire?
Assuming Yussa isn’t killed in his sleep to cover tracks, are he and other mages coming for Trent now? I feel like between wizards breaching another’s tower is asking for it.
Last episode was fun right? (I'm not ready for tonight)

WE FUCKING CALLED IT
Okay but here’s the thing.
We know now, more than ever before, that Trent Ikithon is the freaking master of the long game. That AND he one manipulative son of a bitch that still (ostentibly) has Astrid and Wulf under his thumb. Now, I have no doubt that they hate his guts as much as the next person and either one would relish taking his seat. There has to have been a lot of genuine emotion at that table or those high insight checks would’ve tipped TM9 off.
However, I can’t shake the feeling that all of that commiserating over how awful Trent is when they walked Caleb out was specifically meant to gain his trust, make him think that they need or even WANT rescuing.
I may be overthinking this but all I’m saying is we should be VERY suspicious if either of them wants help taking down Trent. This may just be Trent’s new trap for naive little Bren and his soft heart.
(Also that owl is totally his familiar)
Because I have to mix all of my hyperfixations together:
The Mighty Nein plays Among Us
A lot of really amazing, noteworthy things happened this episode but I haven’t seen anyone talk about this yet and...
Caduceus said he wasn’t done “repaying” the Nein and no one corrected him!
That’s...kinda sad actually. I’m sure they don’t feel that way but it’s just reinforcing idea in his head of how transactional their relationship is. Not to mention I don’t think they’ve realized yet that he probably needs a hug and some reassurance too. He’s just... so good at dodgeing what little prodding they do.
What, like I wasn't going to draw something for Ep.100? Oh, Jessie :’D
