Pep Talks With Bells Hells
Campaign 3 Episode 89: Divisive Portents
Ashton really is providing great contrast to this conversation. Like, yes we need to discuss if perhaps Liliana could be swayed, that's important. But it's equally important to remember that Imogen does not know her, and that familial connection they share could nonetheless effect and manipulate Imogen in dangerous ways. They're providing that good, stark contrast to round out the conversation, and it's something that needs to be heard
laudna "i will kill myself for you" and imogen "i would kill everyone for you" to me is fucking insane keep the angst good work
Liam: Matt, did you create the one fantasy world where history isn't warped by the people who are telling it or can we actually not trust anything you have said up until this point?
My thoughts on the recent imodna convo: What if feels like right now to me, is imogen fully loves laudna and would never let her go even if it might mean awful things would happen to the world because delilah is still in it. she refuses to be apart, shes tethered to laudna as laudna is to her. She needs Laudna there to ground her and she wants to be close. And Laudna loves Imogen so much that she's scared to love her. She loves Imogen so much that she would tear herself away from her in order to protect her. She loves Imogen so much that she would break the ground between them, keeping them apart if she thought that's what's best for Imogen. She loves Imogen so much that she would sacrifice their love in order for Imogen to succeed. Which is like. Two different perspectives and ideas of love, but still love. There is still a really deep, strong love there; they are just experiencing it in different ways, and Laudna thinking shes a burden when Imogen thinks she the direct opposite definitely would create some conflicting words and ideas, but that doesnt mean they are falling out of love. So even though that talk was really shaky and seemed as though they were drifting apart, I actually think it was good communication on how each of them are experiencing love, so now Imogen knows exactly how laudna feels and can tell her shes not a burden, and laudna knows how imogen feels so she wont let her go
TLDR The ways both Imogen and Laudna are experiencing love in their relationship are different. Imogen needs/wants the security of being close to Laudna, and will keep her close no matter what because of how much she loves her
Laudna however loves Imogen so much that she would tear herself away from her if she thought thats whats best for Imogen, Though it was worrying, I view the talk as a communication of each of their views in this relationship, which was helpful bc now they can give eachother what they need (e.g. Imogen telling laudna shes not a burden, Laudna telling Imogen she wont let go of her)
I love Ira's bitchy energy so much, oh my god
