okay just finished the most recent crit role (and cooldown) and i think i might be missing something? why are marisha and tal so focused on getting the pariah blades back...? wasn't the whole plan just to get them secret and hidden so the cormorays couldn't find them? why do they now want to move them/take them out of hiding?

Part of it was the letter to Thjazi that Thimble was waving around, which was hand-waved as being read aloud by Murray.

That's enough to confirm that the paint in the blood-proof urns is probably blood, and that it might be bad to combine it with the Blades ie the magically significant steel that the Houses were trying to secure

Then on top of that, Wick informed them that the Halovars have been using angel blood, which is of the Shapers, and the Schemers know the Mistress of the paintshop was interested in Wick, so there's a likelihood that the blood in the paint came from the basement angel. (Neither the Soldiers nor the Schemers know about Azgra's blood-well.)

So they may have put together that the Blades could be anchors, or think they've accidentally desecrated the Blades by decorating them with corrupted celestial blood - either of which could be a step in the ritual, so they want to get the Blades away from the ritual location ASAP so it doesn't accidentally trigger the ritual or something

Hero knows about Bolaire's super secret sub-basement with the giant hand and everything, and can come and go as she pleases - a truth established thanks to Brennan's comedic instincts, and per the rule later stated wrt Hal's travelling bolthole that when in conflict we default to the DM on environment

Not since Frons Tachonis became a plate-armor-wearing sorceror who could be killed by being thrown off a cliff has Brennan's sense of comic timing so affected the narrative

I'm suddenly wondering if there's a conspiracy among the next generation of the Sundered Houses against their elders - we have Petra and Ryah Tachonis making a cautious approach to their uncle to sound him out about his support of their father, Ingrid's maid sending a secret message perhaps to the Tachonis twins who were located nearby, Ingrid Einfasen crying over her maid's death, Ingrid herself making friends with the Druids, moving to support Royce and seeking her own marriage alliance with Davinos, and Ingrid having information about what's going on that didn't come from her uncle (see the excellent post by @mareastrorum)
