I have this lowkey headcanon that Connor met Tadeusz Kościuszko during the American revolution and they became sort-of-friends. And also, Tadeusz is an Assassin because he would be. And years later Tadeusz writes to Connor to come and help him defend Poland from the Russians, and Connor comes because how can he refuse a Brother who’s fighting for freedom? Which is how Connor ends up in Poland, working with the Polish Brotherhood.
And also, a plot hook for Ubisoft, and wouldn’t “Insurrection” be a nice AC title?
