For @han-pan who asked for this, I hope it is good enough (in the end, I made it sweeter and more bitter than intended, I couldn’t help myself). Sorry if it isn’t long enough.
For those who read this, this is a fic that takes place in my college AU (lots of links in my masterpost if yall are interested) So the pairing, while out of context, may make no sense, BUT it does make sense (kind of XD) in the AU.
Much love to you~
The first time Oichi kisses Yukimura it is unexpected.
The date had gone well, Oichi decided. Smiling brightly at the blushing man in front of her.
Sure dinner had been a bit of a bloody mess, literally if she was being honest. But it was cute, the way his eyes had lit up when he had seen her, the blush that had bloomed darkly on his cheeks, the blood that had begun trickling out of his nose as he gasped.
She had never literally made a boy pass out from her beauty before.
Well, until tonight.
Besides that, things had been swell, great even. Good conversation, he was interesting, he loved kendo and soccer and all sorts of things. His eyes were such a shade of cerulean that half the time she just stared at him, lost in the blue color, had she even seen eyes that shade before?
He was a sweet guy.
Hell, one of the nicest Oichi had ever had the pleasure of taking out.
Now they were standing outside of her apartment, it was too much of a risk that her roommate would be home, even if that sneaky woman had been there less and less lately, and it was EVEN more of a risk that her brother would find out that she was on a date if they went to her house, and god forbid he find out she looked at a man.
Especially one who talked so highly of Takeda Shingen.
And yet here they were.
Oichi smiled a wired smile, a look that almost mimicked her brother perfectly.
She loved Nobu, but he could be such a damn fool sometimes.
“Hey, uh, Oichi” Yukimura spoke, breaking their silence. His hand was on the back of his neck, a nervous gesture that she found endearing immediately. “What...um...what do you want to do now?”
“Thank you for walking me home ”She fluttered her lashes, a soft look in her eyes at his stuttering. “You can come inside if you want.” Yukimura turned a brighter shade of red, and Oichi briefly wondered if he’d faint again.
She’d have to move really slow with him
“Or not.” She laughed, and his blush faded, an awkward laugh escaping his own lips. “How about this, I kiss you goodnight, and then we meet again next weekend?”
“K-Ki-” Before he could fully react, she pressed her lips to his, standing on her tip-toes to do it, His body froze, then relaxed and his hands were on her hips before she pulled away.
His eagerness was not lost on Oichi.
“Whoa.” He stared at her like she was the one who hung the stars in the sky. “I...I mean-”
“G’night Yukimura, I’ll see you soon.” Before she could pull away from him completely, he pulled her back, his lips meeting hers; gentle and longing.
For a while they just stood there, his arms around her waist, her hands clutching at his coat, lips chastely pressed against one another.
Butterflies bloomed in her stomach, a sort of longing she had never felt before taking over…
When he pulled away, she decided that he really was beautiful.
And that she had to kiss him again.
They kiss many times over their relationship, in hallways at the university, in darkened movie theaters, in the living room of a college professor when he wasn’t watching, but mostly they kiss on Yukimura’s couch.
None of those kisses are like the first. These are hot and wanting, fumbling hands meeting experienced ones, and blushes traded in for moans.
Yes they kiss and kiss and kiss. They even kiss on their last night together, when they both agree to part ways. That last kiss was the sweetest of all.
But the first one will always be Oichi’s favorite.
