[I think I've listed my ships for Hughes before, but just in case they haven't been extremely bloody obvious here they are again: Hyuroi, Hyushia(Hughes/Gracia), Hyuza.
That being said, I seem to have picked up one or two crackships that bear mentioning now o_o
Hughes and Olivier, born of cosplay interactions between myself and a friend of mine. It's scary because it could totally work and those words were how Hyuza was born. Definitely a broTP, though, given certain headcanons we came up with for them.
Hughes and Izumi. Again, scary because it could work, and then they'd take over Amestris and make Ed and Roy's lives miserable. Definitely a crackship, and fast becoming a broTP.
With the ship meme that went around came Hughes and Kimblee, which...I could actually almost see during the war, given how my Hughes thought and acted back then. Pretty much only during the war, though, and there would be absolutely no emotional involvement on likely either of their parts XD
And then there was Hughes and Isaac. This one I'm less sure of, but I wouldn't mind actively playing out to see where it leads. We don't know much about Isaac before he snapped and tried to put Central Command in its own little icecube, but since he actually did have good intentions with that I'm reasonably certain he's a good man, or was at one point. It would depend largely on what sort of tack the Isaac-mun took with him, I think, but it could be interesting either way.
All that said, I am totally down for mucking about with any or all of these. This is what AUs are for, either AU FMAVerse or AU Otherverse. ]
