I didn't say that you said either of those things. I was just sharing my opinion, since you said you like when people write to you off anon so you know with whom you're conversing. Sorry if it seemed like anything other than a pleasant conversation-starter.
No, I’m sorry. I seem to have a habit of taking the completely wrong meaning from people’s asks. I do like when people share their opinion through messages (especially when they disagree because I like to see other perspectives). I guess somewhere in there I thought you were saying that my opinion is “wrong”, but you weren’t so it’s all good. I’ll try not to jump to a conclusion like that next time.
I just finally got a chance to look at your overall rankings for cycle 6, and I'm really surprised about some of them, since I usually agree with you. For me, Danielle and Joanie were the clear top 2 (and one of the best final two in ANTM history). Then again, I couldn't stand Jade's personality, and I didn't like how she almost always had a strong expression, instead of showing more versatility, so maybe I had a bias against her.
I never said that Joanie didn’t deserve to make the final two, and I never said that Danielle and Joanie were a bad final two. In fact, they’re one of the only final twos that didn’t leave me wondering how one of the contestants even made it that far. I just think Jade’s portfolio, walk, and performance in challenges were more consistently strong than Joanie’s were.
Maybe it's just me, but I think AJ looks a bit like Marjorie in her wig shoot.
Hmm, I don’t see it.
In response to the anon that asked about Ann's modelling career post-ANTM, I remember reading somewhere that she stopped modelling for a while because her dad (or someone else close to her) passed away. Apparently she's getting back into it now.
Oh, well there’s you answer, anon.
We've had similar opinions on the past cycles, so I'm interested to see how you rank everyone. My least favorite of the cycle (Natasha) seems to be everyone's favorite. I don't really have an actual favorite, though. The girls I liked as models were problematic people, so I can't say that I have an overall favorite contestant for this cycle.
Everyone in this cycle is pretty problematic. Haha.
I'm another anon who has sent in a few messages! I was the one wondering who you would pick as the "girl Tyra did dirty" and where you would put Saleisha (who I personally can't stand).
Oh, well thanks for coming off of anon! It feels more like we’re interacting this way for me (which will hopefully become even more interesting once Cycle 22 starts airing). And I actually have finalized my choice for “The Girl Who Tyra Did Dirty” and it’s an interesting one. I wonder how everyone will react to it.
Not gonna lie, I'm really shocked about how low you placed Sarah. She was a personal favorite of mine from the cycle. I keep wondering how far she would have gone if she stayed the size she was when auditioning, since that seemed to be the main issue.
I knew she would probably be a fan favorite, I just don’t get it. And yeah, she probably would have made it further if she had stayed plus size. I still don’t think she would have made it overseas, though. No one on the panel, nor myself, seemed to harbor any strong feelings (positive or negative) about her photos.
