Charlotte Katakuri, Smoothie And Cracker Finding An Abused Orphan With The Dark Fruit
(Just so this thing isn't a mile long, only Katakuri will save the child, Smoothie and Cracker will be interactions with them after Katakuri saves them.)
Katakuri was tasked with raiding a marine ship to collect a certain food themed paramecia fruit that they had on board, not expecting to find something else along the way.
Taking down the marines was extremely simple for Katakuri, especially since the ship only had a vice admiral running it.
However, whilst on his way to retrieve the fruit after either killing or incapacitating the marines, he heard the soft sniffles of a child.
The Charlotte family have quite a few members who have a fondness for children, Katakuri secretly being one of them, so he immediately went searching in the direction of the crying deep into the Marine ship.
Once reaching the lowest room of the ship, he found a bedroom. Well, if by bedroom you mean a room with nothing but a small bed then, yes, a bedroom. It had a small child hidden underneath the covers, a little bit of blood dried on their bed and face.
His imposing form terrified you as he approached. Like usual, you expected a beating but, instead, you received a soft hand atop your head and a scarf wrapped around you to help cover any open wounds.
After retrieving the fruit he was assigned to find, Katakuri returned to you and took his scarf back, now with a few red patches along the whites. He lifted you into his arms and stomped the head of the vice admiral into a red paste before heading back to his ship.
Yeah, he could tell immediately what kind of situation you had been living in. It was quite obvious from your room and the scars you had.
However, what he thought was a normal child who would be put in an orphanage became something alot different after he saw your peculiar abilities.
You see, you were with the marines due to having eaten a certain logia class devil fruit, the dark dark fruit. One of the strongest devil fruits in the world.
Katakuri learned you had this ability when you ended up cutting your thumb on one of the spikes on his kneepad, causing it to bleed. Seeing your own blood again caused you to cry, your abilities activating as a small black hole began to form around your feet. Luckily, Katakuri's scarf seemed to be able to calm you as he wrapped it around you.
Once returning to Tottoland, he immediately took you to big mom. At first, she didn't care, but then he told her about the devil fruit you possessed. Immediately, she had you be in the care of her children, allowed to live in the Château as a useful tool for her family.
Katakuri is often busy due to being such a high ranking member of the crew so you won't get to see him often. However, with him being the man who saved you from the living hell you had been trapped in, you had gravitated and felt most comfortable around him.
Many of the Charlotte siblings are shocked to see Katakuri be so warm hearted and kind towards you. Seeing him reach down and pet your head is something he doesn't often do yet he does it everytime he sees you.
Your favourite spot? Right on Katakuri's shoulder. You love his scarf so much, it's so soft and comfy and it instantly relaxes you whenever you touch it.
It's quite clear that Katakuri likes you and sees as some sort of little sibling or as if you were his own child. He is most soft and affectionate with you out of all his siblings, definitely making some of the younger ones jealous.
After a few months, he may even let you join him on his secret snack breaks. You already know what he looks like without his scarf and you're very close so there isn't any harm in letting you share a donut or two.
Smoothie took a while to warm up to you. Not only did her position mean she didn't see you often but you weren't one of her blood siblings so she wasn't very interested in chatting with you.
However, she quickly tool note of how Katakuri acted around you. How he seemed so affectionate and more warm around you, something she didn't think he would show even around his blood family, let alone a child adopted into the family.
Whenever she spots you when she isn't busy, she'll try and chat with you for a bit. Smoothie can come off as a bit condescending and serious but that's her usual demeanor so don't take it too personally.
She doesn't attempt to get too close to you. At first, she sees you the way her mother sees you, as a tool for the crew. Shocking probably no one, your wholesome self managed to crack her serious exterior and make her just as loving to you as Katakuri.
Her scarf is nowhere near as good as Katakuri's when it comes to comfort but it's a close second. Don't be surprised if she begins to up her scarves fluff game.
Smoothie does like holding you in her lap. She's so massive that it's just the most convenient place. The only over places are her shoulder, on her hand or the top of her head.
Her well made juice is all yours. She'll freshly squeeze you your favourite flavours and share a refreshing glass with you similar to the snack breaks of her older brother.
Unlike the other two commanders, Cracker doesn't have much of an exterior. What you see is what you get. He's a buttmonkey who enjoys what he does and has no quams with hurting people.
That goes for you too. He's pushed around his younger siblings before and a brat like you isn't any different. One of the rare few Charlottes who doesn't love kids turns out to find them quite annoying.
He doesn't physically hurt you, knowing that someone like Katakuri would probably beat his ass, he chooses to insult you and knock you off your feet with the hilt of his sword 'on accident'.
Also, unlike his younger sister Smoothie, he won't grow to like you. He already dislikes most of his siblings so don't expect him to make an exception for you.
Honestly him not liking you might give you a closer relationship to some of the younger siblings who also get pushed around by him so I guess you can thank him for that?
Just try and avoid him or stick to one of the nicer siblings. Trust me, it's for the best since Cracker will bully you if he finds you alone.

Looks:
Katakuri doesn’t really care about your looks that much since, in his opinion, he has no ground to judge anyone about their looks. But he can’t deny that he has a preference though but regarding looks he’s not too particular.
He likes someone who’s not too short. It’s not that he’s not attracted to someone short but in my opinion he wouldn’t date them necessarily. He’s just too afraid to accidentally crush them. If we talk in “normal” hight terms (lol) he’d prefer someone who’s maybe a head shorter than him, maybe one and a half max but I see that in One Piece universe finding someone who’s so tall is not so easy.
He’s also not opposed to you having your own style as long as It suits you. You can be the most feminine, or the most masculine person there is or anything in between as long as you don’t play “dress up” to impress him or anything. He can’t stand that. If he sees you’re fake he won’t even consider talking to you and this man is reeeally good at judging people so there is really no need to try for you to play pretend.
Personality:
He likes someone who’s not fake. There are enough people in his family who pretend to be someone they’re not just to impress him and he hates it. Doesn’t need you to do the same. If you’re a genuine person you have a better chance at him liking you.
If you’re strong but sweet at the same time it’s a huge plus. He needs to know that you can defend yourself if you need to and are also headstrong. Meanwhile, he will love your sweet and gentle side, maybe even caring. But that’s not necessarily a must. It’s enough if you are there for him.
Should’ve been the first point but he doesn’t need anyone who judges other people based on appearance. He hates it. He might even knock you out with his haki if you are just too full of yourself. A little judging is okay, everyone does it but straight out mocking someone based on their appearance is a no no!
Approach to relationship:
He’s hesitant, to say the least. He is insecure about his looks and also about showing weakness in front of anyone. Even if he likes you, he will still be reserved around you; just a little more attentive and aware of the things you like.
It’s a looong, long process from him realizing he likes you a little to him actually coming to terms that he likes you. And it all depends on your behavior around him, really. If he’s not 100% sure that you like him back, he will never “confess” his feelings for you.
Not that he will actually confess but you will somehow know that he likes you by small gestures he usually doesn’t do around other people. He will probably ask his mother to marry you and that’s how you know for sure, even if he’s never mentioned anything in this direction. He will ask you yourself but he will ask his mother for permission first!
Charlotte Persopero
Looks:
Perospero is way pickier that his brother since in his opinion he has every right to be. He’s confident with his looks, his personality and just his general being so he needs someone who can match him.
He prefers someone timid looking. He likes to be seen as your protector and will keep you around most of the time (also to show you off to his family). He’s the oldest and he deserves only the best so if he chooses you, you’re at least not half bad looking.
Like his brother, he likes it if you’re innocent looking like you couldn’t hurt a fly; with a cute smile that could melt his heart. When you look at him with big eyes when he explains something it’s the best. It makes him feel really good, he cant help it.
Personality:
Someone who can hold their ground against his siblings. When you can fight back ( verbally, he wouldn’t approve of you fighting them physically) but are somewhat submissive around him. He’s not as high up popularity wise like his brother but when he has someone strong by his side it’s a plus.
Understand his humor. He has a dark sense of humor and he needs you to first: understand this kind of humor and second: like it. He doesn’t need someone who understands his humor but will be annoyed or reprimand him about things he’s said. He’s not the most sensitive person so if you have a problem with it he won’t even consider you as a potential partner any further from this point on.
Get along with his siblings. He values his family a lot so when you have a problem with even ONE of his siblings, especially the ones he’s the closest with, he will drop you like a hot potato.
Approach to relationship:
If he likes someone, he will tell them. He won’t give away anything about his feelings whatsoever so it will come out of the blue if he happens to confess. He’s always wearing this smile on his face so there is honestly no telling what he’s thinking.
He might even the type of person to “force” you to confess to him first. He will find out what annoys you or who would make you jealous and hang out with that person, forcing you to come to terms with your feelings. It might backfire on him but he is willing to take the risk.
In general, he’s not looking for a partner in my opinion. He has his family to take care of and he’s constantly worried about Big Mom getting into another rage mode so there is not that much time for a relationship. He is, however, not opposed to it. He just prefers to play around a little more with no commitment. It’s just one less person he has to worry about.
Charlotte Smoothie
Looks:
She is actually quite picky and I can only see her going either of two ways regarding looks: Smoothie either likes it when you look completely innocent and pure, a hard contrast to her. When you are adored for your looks by everyone around you she would be proud to say that you’re hers.
Or, she wants you to look like a total badass. I’m talking about tattoos, piercings, a scowl on your face, the whole nine yards. He will be the proudest person in the world to call you her partner and to kind of threaten anyone who dares to ridicule you by telling them all the ways you could torture them.
There is nothing in between in my opinion and you can fight me but I won’t change my mind. Everything in between looks boring to her and she is, as I said before, she is a woman who knows what she wants and will take no less.
Personality:
She would find it extremely thrilling if your personality didn’t match your looks. Meaning, if you look innocent but are a complete badass and the other way around. It gives extra spice to the way she sees you and it will most definitely increase her interest in you.
She wants a partner who is smart. There is nothing more disgusting than a dull and dumb person. She’s smart herself so she needs someone to actually have a conversation with. If you don’t know how to do that, get out. She’s not interested in you.
Someone who is submissive. Not in the way like: I do everything you say-type of submissive but someone who obeys her orders if needed. She can handle you talking back but if she says something that she deems is the right way of doing things, he doesn’t like you arguing a lot (there are times where she is wrong and she can admit that but in general she doesn’t like arguing).
Approach to relationship:
She takes what she wants. If you happen to catch her eye, she will first get to know you and then straight out tell you that she likes you. She will make sure that there is at least a possibility of you likening her back but will kind of catch you off guard,
She doesn’t strike me as the person who wants to get married but she is not completely opposed to it. She’s always learned that marriage is out of political reasons so she doesn’t see the need to marry. It might even have a negative connotation to it. She likes to keep it “unofficial” if you want to call it that way.
She will take things into her own hand. As I said before, if you wants something, she gets it and she won’t rely on coincidence. That’s stupid in her eyes. She wants you? She gets you. She can get across a little too harsh but it’s just the most efficient way for her and if you don’t reciprocate her feelings she can make a check behind that part of her life and move on.
Charlotte Cracker
Looks:
Cracker thinks he deserves the best looking partner and he wont settle for anything less in his eyes. If he finds you beautiful (no less than that) he will approach you. Personality is second at this moment.
He likes someone feminine. If you take care of your appearance, wear cute things, have cute hair or look sexy he’s all over you. He doesn’t like boring looking people and I think out of all the five he’s the most superficial.
Personality:
It’s the first impression that counts, HOWEVER the next step would be your personality. If you look stunning but you are ugly from the inside he’s gone (maybe a one night stand but then he’s out of there).
You are not supposed to talk back at him but deep down he’s not as opposed to it as he leads on. He just doesn’t like it when you do it in public and make him look like a fool. He needs to seem like he has his partner “under control” to keep up his image. It’s a different story in the bedroom.
He needs you to be a good listener. His days are hard and he needs to vent about everything so it’s really nice for him to just be able to talk. His siblings are busy with their own islands and jobs so that’s probably the most important personality trait for him.
Approach to relationship:
If he really likes you, he’s a tsundere. His whole family will know he likes you before he can admit it. It’s one thing to just fuck someone and throw them away but another thing actually liking a person.
He will tease you endlessly and deny liking you, leading him to tease you even more. But it’s his way of showing his affection towards you. You just can’t get too annoyed by it or he will stop and lose interest in you. He’s like a little child when it comes to this, even though he’s a middle-aged man lol.
When he actually confesses to you eventually it will come out of the blue but then he’s super sure that you like him back. If you’re still around after all his teasing there is at least the possibility that you like him back a little.

Looks:
Brulee has always been insecure about her looks and she’s been bullied about it so, like Katakuri, she isn’t one to judge someone based on appearance. She has a type and that could best be described as kind looking. When she just instantly gets the feeling that you’re someone who is a kind hearted person just based on the way you look if you know what I mean?
It’s not really your look rather than your whole aura; the way you carry yourself, the way you act around others, the way your whole appearance just tells her: you can feel comfortable around me. When she gets this feeling around you, she will think you’re the most beautiful person in the world.
She kind of likes it if you have some kind of physical “flaw” like a weirdly shaped mole, a crooked nose, a scar somewhere visible – just anything. It just gives her the feeling that even someone like you has their little flaws and you’re not ashamed of them.
Personality:
A kind-hearted person. That’s basically all she wants. You can be as obnoxious or loud or anything, really, as long as you are a good person at heart. It might be based on her childhood that she values this aspect in a partner that greatly but it’s something she won’t compromise about.
She loves to laugh so she wants you to have a sense of humor and be able to laugh with you. It’s not a deal breaker if you are a serious person but you need to have at least a little sense of humor in you. Otherwise, it’d be difficult in the long run for her to communicate with you on a comfortable level.
You need to have some sort of passion for something. It doesn’t really matter what it is but she likes seeing you get excited about something. It makes her feel excited as well and she wants to understand why you feel this way. She likes to watch you from afar do the thing you love and watch your expression.
Approach to relationship:
She will definitely first confide in her older brother Katakuri. He’s the person out of all her siblings she is the closest to so naturally she wants to hear his opinion about you. If he thinks you’re not the best choice for her she’s likely to listen to him and not pursue a relationship with you. It might be the case that her brother just doesn’t know you that well yet so she asks him to spend some time with you and then tell her again. If his opinion doesn’t change, she will listen to him.
She would actually prefer if you told her first that you like her. It would make things a lot easier for her to decide how she feels about you. If it’s too soon or too sudden, she will probably decline your feelings. She needs to get her head around it first and it takes a while for her to get to terms with her feelings.
If you wait longer, get to know her better and let her get to know you as well on a more intimate level she is most likely to reciprocate your feelings. She will still ask his brother for advice but in this case she’ll probably ask him after she’s already said yes so she just wants some kind of affirmation from him.

When Cracker gets back to his rooms on Whole Cake Island he is already annoyed and it's not even lunch time.
He stomps in to the house and immediately realises that its empty, his girlfriend nowhere to be seen.
He let's out a huff, he hadn't mentioned it to her but hed been planning on coming back to grab something to eat together but he'd been bogged down with work and she had obviously made other plans.
Cracker wandered to the kitchen to prepare himself something but stopped when he spotted the folded piece if paper with his name scribbled on it in his girlfriends neat handwriting.
He swiped the paper off the counter and flipped it open, smirking as he read her cute nickname for him. The smirk slipped from his face the further down her read, the paper wrinkling in his hand as he gripped it tighter and tighter.
"Hey Biscuitdaddy! Hope you're having a good day! I cant wait for you to get back. I'm heading over to the library, Mont-D'Or said he had some books I might like! See you soon, love Name :D "
Cracker reread the letter again then crumpled it in to a ball, launching it across the kitchen. He told himself he didn't care, his younger sibling was just being nice - but this wasnt the first time that Mont D'Or had invited her to read with him.
With a snarl Cracker turned on his heel, slamming every door he passed through on his way out of the building.
Siblings, servants and visitors alike hastily got out of Crackers way as he strode down the corridors, his face set in to its usual grin but his teeth clenched in annoyance.
It didnt take the Sweet Commander long to reach the library, his long stride and irritation spurring him on. He stepped inside, his eyes searching the visible rows to find his partner.
He stalked in deeper, frowning, more and more annoyed with each step until finally he spotted her.
She was sat on a luxurious couch, book open in her lap and a look of concentration on her face as she took in whatever information the book could give.
Mont-D'Or was seated almost beside her, his own book in hand. Cracker watched as his younger brother leant over to peer at the pages of her book. His brother said something that Cracker was too far away to hear, but he saw the smile it bought to his girlfriends face and that was enough.
"Name!" Cracker calls, already half way too her. At the sound of his voice both his brother and girlfriend look up, her face splitting in to a wide grin.
"Cracker!" She says, excited to see him.
"Big brother!" Mont-D'Or adds, marking his place in his book and snapping it closed. "I didnt expect to see you here."
"Tch," Cracker keeps the wide grin on his face while he drops on to the sofa between his girlfriend and his brother, pushing Mont-D'Or away. "I can go where I want, Mont-D'Or. Besides I came to see my girl."
"Of course," Mont-D'Or nods.
Cracker slings an arm around his partners shoulder and pulls her to him, tucking her in against his side.
"Good book, babe?" He asks, glancing at the pages with feined interest.
He listens for a few moments while she excitedly tells him about the new books Mont-D'Or found for her.
"I'm glad my brother has been helpful," Cracker says, though he doesn't sound it. He turns to look at his younger sibling who shifts uncomfortably under his gaze. "I'm hungry, let's grab some lunch."
"Okay!" She agrees immediately, jumping up and tucking her book under her arm, glancing at the clock. "I didnt realise how long I'd been here, it's gone lunch!"
"Mhmm," Cracker gets to his feet and grins, glancing at Mont-D'Or before leaning down and taking his girlfriends chin in his hand. He presses a hard kiss to her lips, earning a pleased squeak from her before pulling away. "Let's get outta here babe."

He’s actually not looking for a way to kill the straw hats or get revenge, he’s only focused on finding them to get you back safely
He has trouble sleeping, barely gets 10 minutes- he was so used to holding you while he slept
It’s very hard to focus on anything else, but he’s not really letting anyone focus on anything else until he figures out how to get you. Now you’re lucky it’s Perospero you’re with because being the first born son gets him special treatment from Mama. If it were one of the younger children, they wouldn’t have gotten much help in getting their wife back. But Big Mom and Perospero’s siblings
When you do come back, either because Perospero took a ship and crew to get you himself/with a sibling or two, or because the Strawhats realized that you weren’t being forced to stay with the Big Mom pirates- Brook, Robin, and Chopper were probably the ones to realize you truly love Perospero
He would hug you immediately then check for any injuries and ask if you’re okay. He basically locks the two of you in his room for affectionate time, ranging from sex to cuddling and kisses
Needless to say he’s a lot more protective, especially during battles- he’ll have you hide or make sure you practically have a whole army protecting you (or one/a few of his younger siblings)
Furious, why the hell weren’t you being protected?! Everyone can feel the anger radiating off him, the atmosphere is extremely tense. His siblings all know to stay away from him because he’s snapping at everyone, or giving them a glare that could quite literally kill them
He spends a bit thinking, then goes to do something himself. He tries to think rationally and keep his calm exterior, but his actions are a bit rash, especially for him
He can’t really compose/organize his thoughts and he becomes a bit clumsy. Overall it just throws him off because he didn’t expect this to happen
Once again, it’s fortunate it’s Katakuri, being the second son means he’ll get help from his family- although he probably won’t take it. He’ll want to get you back by himself and he’ll be more than ready to take a ship alone and get you back
He’ll be off to get you the second day that you don’t return. You have to hold him back and assure him the Strawhats didn’t hurt you unless you want a replay of his fight with Luffy. Just tell him you’re okay and to leave them alone and you want to go home, and Katakuri will have you in the boat and heading back without a second thought
He holds you the entire trip back, and carries you to the doctor once you’re back- no matter how many times you assured him you’re okay. He’ll be similar to Perospero once you’re back, hiding in his room with you. Cuddling and kisses mostly, he has you join him for his merienda that day. That night he stays up later just watching you and appreciating the moment and feeling of having you back in his arms (even if you were only away for 2 days)
Also very protective, he’s usually protective but now he refuses to let you be near a battle unless you have one of his siblings keeping an eye on you, he won’t trust you with any guards because they failed the first time
He’s the one who reacts the worst- angry, sad, scared, insulted, offended, embarrassed. He’s embarrassed that he let you be captured, insulted/offended because he thinks the Strahats think he’s so weak they thought they could take you. He’s sad because he can’t find you now, and scared because he’s worried you’ll get hurt or worse, or that he won’t be able to get you back. Deep down Cracker is a very emotional person and no one can change my mind
He yells a lot and demands help from his siblings and Big Mom, but unfortunately he’s the 10th son so he won’t be as big of a priority as it was with Perospero, but he is a favorite child so that counts for something. Pudding is most likely to be the one who worries the most, seeing as she wants love too- she’s actually the one who wants to help her brothers the most in this scenario
He would’ve gone to get you, but you returned before because you had finally gotten the Strawhats to understand that you were choosing to stay with the Big Mom pirates. He went out and was more than ready to fight Luffy again, but he just had to see you then he was running to make sure you’re okay- you’re his first priority even before revenge
He picks you up and twirls you around while hugging you, he frantically checks you for any injuries- then you have to hold his hand and push him inside before he fights someone
He does get some harsh trash talk in though
Yes he shows you he missed you with sex, but aftercare is lots of cuddles where he promises to never let someone take you again and to do better, to be better for you
How would Shanks, Benn Beckman, Katakuri, Cracker would react if a s/o being suspect of being a spy ( like undercover marines of SWORD)?

Oh how he didn’t want to believe it- he hoped it wasn’t true and that the person who made the claim was just trying to get Shanks to turn on you
But he’s a captain, he has people he has to protect and look out for, even if you were one of those people, his crew comes first
He would bring you in and ask you directly if you’re a spy, he would most likely do that “I know what you are” but he actually doesn’t its just to get you to admit to it because you think he actually knows
If you aren’t a spy:
He would apologize for thinking you were, then he would assure his crew that you aren’t a spy
He would also keep a close eye on you just in case someone who still suspected you tried to harm you
He would definitley track down whoever started the rumors and find out why they did it and then kill them
If you are a spy:
Literally all feelings of calmness and safety have left the atmosphere
Everythings goes cold and Shanks just stares at you with this dark look in his eyes, he can’t kill you himself but he has Lucky Roux do it
He resents you and gets rid of almost everything that ties back to you, he keeps like one picture of the two of you
Only in his drunkest moments does he miss you, otherwise he only feels hatred and disgust

He would be very skeptical, he wouldn’t believe it at first but he would begin to watch you closley and look for any signs of your true intentions
He would be fairly distant and wouldn’t share as much about his days with you as he usually would. As much as he loves you, his crew holds very important place too
If he sees signs of your possible betrayal, he’ll take you aside with Shanks, Yasopp, and Lucky Roux (the most trusted crewmembers) and confront you
If you aren’t a spy:
He wouldn’t exactly apologize cuz he didn’t do anything wrong, he was looking out for his crew
He would make sure you were always close by so no one can hurt you because they believe this rumor
He definitely gets Shanks to help figure out why the rumor was started
If you are a spy:
He lets Shanks decide what to do with you, he no longer feels the same about you
Any respect he had for you is long gone
Benn is mature and smart, he knows you have to be gone in order to guarantee the safety of him and the rest of the crew, so he doesn’t care that Shanks decides to have you killed
Sometimes he might think about you when he sees something that reminds him of you- but as far as eveyone else is concerned you never existed

So right away he would be terrified that the rumors are true, not only would that mean that you would be killed, but it also means that Big Mom was right about no one loving him
He doesn’t even wait for signs of your dishonesty, he takes you aside and demands you tell him your true intentions
If you aren’t a spy:
He’ll say a quick apology not very big, he was just doing what was best for him and his family so he doesn’t see anything wrong
He would spend literally every moment with you until everything blows over, because he knows damn well if one of his sibling believed the rumors they would try to hurt you
He’ll try to figure out why someone started the lie and then track them down himself or send one of his siblings to kill that person
If you are a spy:
Well fuuuuck you, he doesn’t give af what you’ve been through together
Leaves you to his family or he might even kill you himself
Literally everything he felt for you flies out the window
This also makes his insecurities even worse because he thinks you didn’t love him because of his looks and thats what made you able to actually help in a plan of betrayal against him and his family
Anyone who mentions you gets a death glare

Kinda tricky for this one but; At first he fights for your innocence, claiming that you would never do that
But Big Mom tells him they still have to investigate, so he distances himself for a few days while the whole family watches for signs of trickery
When he is called in with Perospero, Smoothie, and Katakuri
He’s actually pretty worried but he doesn’t show it at all, he keeps quiet the whole time while the others interrogate you
If you aren’t a spy:
Boy is relieved
But now he’s pissed at whoever started the rumor and hunts them down
But he stays by your side and has more guards with you to ensure your safety
Seriously he was scared for second
If you are a spy:

He’s sad but feels extremely betrayed and hurt, a touch of anger
He’ll scoff and throw an insult at you before leaving the room because he doesn’t want to see them kill you
He’ll occasionally think about you but never tells anyone, he never talk about you to anyone anymore
