[The room drops in temperature the moment Jack made his way in, the air turning chilly but not enough to redden noses. He smiled widely before it drops into a frown at Jaime’s last words. It was the inevitable but it never hurt any less.] So soon?

[Jamie answers with an apologetic smile, trying to keep his voice down.] Yeah. I just came back for Dad's birthday.

Don't you have to be in bed, Jaime? [The spirit knocks twice on the opened window before slipping in, the gust of wind pushing him through before shutting the window behind him.] You'll be gone soon, won't you?

Jack! [Standing up from behind his desk, Jamie rushes over to the winter spirit with a wide smile. His room has changed dramatically since he was a child--the toys and nick-nacks have been cycled through Sophie and stored in the attic, and most of the posters have been replaced. The only thing in the room that hasn't changed too much is Jamie himself, though his appearance has gone through some significant alterations.]

I'm going back to school tomorrow! I was afraid I wouldn't see you before I left.

crackledfrost has entered the palace

"Jack?" Tooth peered around a pillar, having been looking at map on the wall just moments before. She had been planning her fairies flight plan for that night, based on where teeth were most concentrated was where her main force of fairies would go. It looked to be around the northern hemisphere this night- due to freak accidents in the snow, no doubt. 

 One of her fairies had immediately come to inform her of Jack's arrival as soon as he had landed, his presence still sending most of them into a tizzy just at the sight. She smiled softly when she saw his familiar white hair and blue eyes that reminded her of a winters morning. Tooth immediately flew over to him, throwing her arms around him in a hug. "Jack! How're you? Are you taking care of your teeth? It's been awhile! You haven't gotten in trouble with any of the others, have you? I've missed you!" She didn't pause to let him answer him in between her flurry of questions as she pulled away after a few moments, looking him over. What if he hadn't been taking care of himself?

 It had been awhile since he had visited, and she had assumed he'd been too busy with winter to really visit friends. Although she wished he would visit her, she couldn't blame him, really. Tooth threw her arms around his neck once more and laughed giddily before pulling away, smoothing her feathers down in embarrassment. North always had said she was a bit overenthusiastic.
