When I was reading scriptures tonight some of the verses were talking about repentance, and it got me thinking I've always been kinda curious about how people view repentance across different Christian denominations and how everyone's beliefs on th matter differ. So I wanted to ask, fellow Christians of tumblr (and really anyone else who'd like to share their thoughts on the topic) what does repentance mean to you personally?

While I do think characters secretly still being alive after supposedly dying is overdone rn, I also think we could benefit from more characters secretly being alive still but Irreversibly Different and Messed Up. A complete opposite of who they used to be, completely unrecognizable with no hope of ever being anything like they used to. Maybe not even fully human anymore.
This could go both ways to, with protagonists and/or antagonists switching sides after "dying" or otherwise changing completely from their previous goals and behavior.
