Special Soundtrack Alley/Cosplay Interview: Danielle DeNicola!
Special Soundtrack Alley/Cosplay Interview: Danielle DeNicola!
Hello everyone! This is a special post for Soundtrack Alley. It’s not necessarily a soundtrack post, but it’s the medium I can use to introduce people to the world of cosplay. I had the opportunity to interview Danielle DeNicola recently and I wanted to share her interview on this platform. We talked about her technique, the materials she uses and who influences her the most! I hope you all enjoy…

Craft building.
I realized A long time ago the type of person that I didn't want to be was an "all talk and no action" kinda gal. But I realized growing up in a society that defers people away from your dreams, I was becoming just that. I would talk to people about following their dreams, and putting actions to words, or working hard to attain what they really want, but I wasn't applying that to my own life. I was becoming a hypocritical motivator. Then I sat and thought to myself one day how can I give people this type of advice, when I'm not applying it to my own life? It was all talk and no actions. I thought about how I wanted to live my life. I want to live my life being happy and doing something that I love, that I can enjoy every day. So I had a long conversation with myself about what makes me happy and if I could be anything in the world what would it be. The only thing I could think of was acting. I always dreamt of being an actor ever since I was a little drama queen. So I decided right then and there to be the best actor that I can be. Once I started pursuing this goal I realized that it takes a lot more than talent to be the best actor that I could be. It takes developing a craft and honing in on that craft to get you far. I once read a quote that says that in order to master something you have to dedicate 10,000 hours to learning about it. That's a long ass time lol but if you truly love what your pursuing it shouldn't matter right? I'm a firm believer that anyone who is truly passionate about anything will do whatever it take to reach their goal. It's so important to develop a craft because behind a craft it's hard work, dedication, some form of education on the topic, and persistence. Those are keys to making it in any aspect of life. Raw talent isn't enough. If your not sure how to start your 10,000 hours, start with research. Literally Google every question you have, write down the answers, and research some more. Then (the absolute next thing you should do) is take action, no body is going to give you your goal, you gotta go out there and make it work for you. Don't talk about it, be about it. Don't worry boops, you got this.
Today I floor planned
I’m working on a project and I have to say…I’m sooo excited that I’m having a hard time keeping my feet on the ground. Really…I’m floating…like my new address is 678 Cloud 9 Ave.
I’m a crafter…I knit, tat (make lace by hand…not ink bodies), crochet, cross stitch, card making, and quilling. I have aspirations to do bobbin lace, basket weaving, quilting, paint, pottery, glass blowing and I’m sure…
