adhd strikes again yadda yadda etc BUT

i've taught myself how to tablet weave (in ~4 days, no less) and i'm SO CLOSE to making the perfect red hood symbol pattern you have NO idea. like legit i'm on version 3 and i think with a few final tweaks in v4 i might really have it 👀

Today I suddenly found the motivation to resume work on TINY WIG - I still have to clean it up a little and get a razor comb to thin and trim a bit but my goodness I am so pleased. Starting a final high quality print of her head now, too.

i think i am going to start my blanket! i got an infinity loom a few months ago but i've been too nervous to start on it so i just keep doing scarves, but today i started a hat so i am feeling brave!

this is the yarn i'll be using (not just two skeins obv, this is all they had at the store on saturday lol) - it's a worsted weight acrylic that i've used before for other projects and enjoyed

i hate it when my instincts were right but i had too much faith in things to work out despite it that i didn't listen

anyway, trying to make a thing for my mom and had to cut off a whole foot of warp because the (new!!!!!!!!) cards i was using weren't sanded well enough and started chewing through my threads

i don't honestly know if i can sand them well enough on my own to use them. i guess if i'm patient enough and downsize my sandpaper correctly along the way. in the meantime i'm gonna just use my stupid cardboard cards because i THINK i have enough warp left to do the thing but if i don't i'm just going to throw myself into the nearest volcano
