Dont you hate it when fat fingers damage a project just as you finish it?
I've had an idea for a book cover for a few days, and decided to make it in reality - it went great, up until I smudged the printing on some acetate 😞
Since this was just a test of the concept, I didn't want to go too hard. Anyway, here's a notebook with a four-layer custom designed gothic window cutout, along with a glazed-design acetate insert:
You can't see it too well, but the cutout shows the endpapers featuring a starry sky (if I were to do it again, aside from using better acetate, I'd lighten the image before printing it)
I'd also maybe drybrush the window cutouts to add a little depth to them
