Hexagon-shaped box complex made with toilet paper rolls.

This is a very practical low-effort and low-cost project.

Thought I’d show off my teaching myself some basic embroidery techniques. Happened to have this old UN patch lying around that I didn’t want, so I turned it into something I do want. It’s now stitched onto my camping/hiking bag. Not perfect, but not bad for my first extensive use of needle and thread.
Normally when I get the gremlin urges to own something I see on the Internet (thats not available where I live or waaaaay to expensive) I take a Screenshot and forget about it. The adhd in me says "i can make this, I will come back to it", but as we know that is the (adh)devil talking. So I'm trying something to hold myself accountable for a project. I will post and pin this, until I get to it and (hopefully) finish it.
So this thing here, is way to expensive but i have the mightiest need to obtain it
BUT, it should be relatively easy to make. I just need (or so I think) an LED candle, I can make the holder out of Polymere clay and the calcifer maybe out of hotglue or resin 🤔 I think I should be able to make this for less than 30 bucks (i have to buy at least the candle and maybe new resin). Lets see how this goes
me: it works! it works! it works!
me, .0146 sec later: it doesn't work

As you might expect, I did a lot of crafting while I wasn’t blogging, though as always it wasn’t as much as I wanted to get done.
Bast Bed
What does one do with two skeins of yarn one can’t actually wear?
Make a cat bed, obviously.
This was a very off-the-cuff crochet project, just meant to use up some leftover stash yarn. The purple is from the sweater I made my mom last…

Got myself some paper ribbon / raffia that I’m hoping to turn into a summer hat.
For reference, these bundles are almost as tall as the distance from my elbow to my fingers. I look forward to figuring out how to wrangle these without massive tangles.
