Which is the truly ancestral faith? The Church the English have been part of for only the last 1300 years but is the primary religion known to almost all of us and an unspeakably huge influence on English culture, or the paganism we have practised for tens of thousands of years, but only 200 of which are counted in recorded history and have honestly too few references to properly reconstruct?

I am fairly sure there are other explanatory factors for a dropping life expectancy, such as skyrocketing obesity rates and no one exercising enough. There’s not much evidence that increases in the quantity of working hours is linked to a dropping life expectancy.

next to the garden is a pasture: you raise cows, bunnies, sheep, and chickens. you’ve taught your children to collect eggs every morning, while you and your spouse milk the cows.

although you have technology, wifi, and service, your family doesn’t rely on it for entertainment and communication. you play board games, read books, and write letters.

your house is your own. you fall asleep in the arms of the person you love, happily content with life.

I know some kinda hippie families who live close to nature and farm and have a lot of healthy beautiful children. they’re anti establishment, live like it, but are more or less apolitical otherwise. these types are doing far more than individual internet “right wingers” and their meme of the month politics ever could

kids shouldn’t be exposed to sexual/fetish/kink stuff outside of an explanational/educational context because it is literally psychologically damaging for them to engage with at a young age and being exposed to sexual/fetish/kink stuff can actually be damaging to ANYONE who hasn’t consented to being a witness participant in it so. i do not give a fuck about “historical ties to kink” or “celebrating kinky gay sex”. it will never take priority over the safety of children and people’s right to consent you horrible freaks.

at least like, 20% of adults lack basic markers of maturity like delayed gratification, impulse control, and self-sufficiency. that’s why universal democracy doesn’t work. it makes no sense to have people who can’t even make decisions about their own lives help decide who runs the country especially if they’re making that decision based on what their corrupt news outlet of choice tells them
